This is getting better and better! I loved everything about this volume, the characters were amazing as always and we learned a lot more about the system. I can't wait to see in which direction this is headed!
Bumping this up from 4 to 5 stars. This is easily my favorite volume of the entire series. The drama, the slice-of-life stuff, and the more naturally woven in worldbuilding exposition were all great. I loved the wedding and really appreciate the use of paneling and shadows to convey the joy in Lilina catching the bouquet contrasted with Misaki's and Nejima's presumed doomed love. That study session chapter is one of my faves, I love seeing this awkward group interact and bond. Anyway, I loved this volume so much, definitely the series' best work so far.

Awww, this was a great volume! The ending chapter alone was worth it, and Lilina catching the bouquet was so sweet! I will drill this into everyone's skulls, Team Lilina forever! Igarashi was okay, I'm not fond of characters that unfairly pick on others, but her design is cute and she does have sound reasons behind her motivations. Misaki is driving me nuts for how selfish and contradictory she is, though. She desperately wants to be with Nejima, but pushes Lilina to accept him as her marriage partner, than sobs on the ground and begs Nejima to tell her he loves her. I get that she's a hormonal teenager living in a world where your destined partner is chosen for you, but it's not enough to excuse her actions/behavior. Still a really good volume though and still enjoying the series.
