GOOD LORD was this book BAD. Bad and terribly awkward. I've read books before with stepbrothers/sisters, but ONE they don't ACT like siblings, and TWO they haven't know each other for 16 years!
There was ZERO chemistry between the three people in this book. They ACTED like siblings, like brothers and sister. *shiver* They knew each other for 16 years because the heroine's father dated and then married the hero's mother. They CONSTANTLY talked about being "related" The use of "sister" and "brother" was used SO many times...just gag.
It was just all so disturbing and cringe worthy...
I bought this book on Amazon the other day and loved it! http://thesecretworldofbooklovers.blo... When I read the synopsis I was hooked, I wanted to read it right away, since I was in the mood of a threesome book.
I wasn't disappointed! The story was sexy and captivating, the characters were so hot!
The twin brothers were described in such a good way by the author, that you could tell right away who it was from the way the acted and their way of talking.
Eric was the calm and collected one, but boy did he surprised us, their first scene was steamy and intense!
Sam, the joker and the player, but he was such a kind lover. He was simple and raw.
Last but not least Andrea, she was young and adventurous but life put her on a tricky situation and she thinks she knows just how to get out of it.
The story was fun and entertaining, the sex scenes are amazing and they seem to just click.
First off let me say this book has 2 books in it so it is two books in one. So a bargain. "Her Twin Step-Brothers" is the not creepy at all (some step books can be) but it is very touching at times (not in a weird way) and very hot. Sam and Eric are twins and have been friends with Andrea (Andy) for as long as they can remember. In fact when they were younger she had a faux wedding with both brothers as her groom. Which comes back to memory in this book as the story is told. When Andy is 16 her Dad marries their mom and they become step-siblings. Later they inherit the bar when their parents pass away and they are trying to keep the bar a float.
The boys both realize that they have feelings for her that go beyond a sisterly love and she already knows she LOVES them as in LOVE LOVE... So you have to see what this path goes with the three of them in that relationship. Then there is the bar. It is failing and Eric wants to close up move on but this was Andy's dad's life and she is not ready to give up. She is ready to think outside of the box to bring in customers and change the bar's clientele and to do so she goes bar hopping and gets mistaken for a worker. Things really get heated up with the twins after that happens. Grab your copy of Her Twin StepBrothers and get to reading...
"Failure to Stop" Short story about a gal who comes home to regroup about being lied to by her boss only to discover her old boy friend (whom she was in love with) is still in town and single. He has no idea why she left town and when he finds out the truth finally lets just say just because he is in law enforcement, doesn't mean he will not take out the person who did him wrong. Good read as well.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
Andrea' father married Eric & Sam's mom, 6 years later both of their parents are dead and they are running the family bar. Eric being the serious one can't see a way to save the bar but he doesn't want to let Andrea down. Both Sam and Eric have been attracted to Andrea for years now but with her being their step-sister they know that she is off limits. Until one night they send her out to check out other clubs to find out what is making them work. Instead they find her some where they never expected. What will this mean for them and for the bar? Can they save it and hold on to Andrea's childhood memories?
In Failure to Stop
We meet Devon and Violet. After finding out that she is the other woman Violet comes home to her mom's place until she figures out what she is going to do next. On her way to her mom's house she gets pulled over by her high school boyfriend and first love. Things happened right as they were about to graduate from high school and she hasn't been home since. So when she sees him all the old feelings come back but her reason for leaving still is there too. Can she put it all behind her and find a second chance at love? Or will she run away again and never find true happiness? Will Devon finally get the answers to why she left so he can move on? Or will the answers lead him back into his first love's arms where he will stay forever?
Both books are amazing they are quick reads. Both of them show what fighting for what you believe in can give you the greatest reward. I would recommend this book set to anyone and everyone.
Andrea, Sam and Eric are step siblings, but they've never felt like it. Since their parents’ marriage and then accidental death, they've struggled to keep Andrea’s family bar afloat. Desperate times call for desperate measures, so Andrea starts getting creative. However, Andrea’s money-making ideas start them down an irreversible path that leads to some VERY non-sibling-like thoughts.
This taboo ménage romance is passionate and emotional, but there’s also an underlying tenderness. The feelings and problems they must face seem like a more realistic portrayal of a love triangle or ménage relationship. Jealously and insecurity are difficult to overcome, and they must decide what they truly want.
The very hot bonus novel Failure To Stop is a sweet and dirty second chance romance about a cop who discovers he likes to stop and frisk the high school sweetheart who got away. The ending is a little rushed, but nothing major.
I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Sexy and fun! Andrea (Andy) has always lusted after her twin stepbrothers, Sam and Eric. After their parent’s death, the 3 of them are tasked with running the family bar, The Foxy, but things aren’t going well and are on the verge of bankruptcy. When Andy makes a reckless decision one night, she finds herself exposed to her stepbrothers but also gets an idea for reviving the club. At the the same time, she finds herself in compromising positions with both Sam and Eric and isn’t sure what to do with these feelings. I loved that we get all 3 viewpoints, it’s awesome knowing what Eric and Sam are thinking and feeling. Will she be able to convince straight-laced Eric to implement her plans for the club? Will the three of the finally admit their true feelings?
This was a good story. It's m/f/m and explicit with story behind it. The characters are great and make you root for them to get their happy ending and figure things out. Andy, Sam, and Eric all have hidden feelings because their parents got married when they were teenagers. The bar situation forces it to come to light and they have to figure out if it's worth the risk and if it's what they want. I thought the story was well written and flowed well. It takes a little while for the characters to get together, understandably and it fits the story. There's plenty of sexual tension in the meantime and up liked getting to see them together. I would have loved to have gotten a little more time with them once they got together but it was well done.
I enjoyed both books. I wish both were a little longer though. "Her twin stepbrothers" was slightly predictable but enjoyable. I think the story could have been a little deeper and filled in. I would have loved for it to elaborate more after the change in the bar. It really got good towards the end and then it was over leaving me wanting more. I could see "failure to stop" being a full size book as well. If you are looking for a quick read though these are great. I started it before going to bed and finished the first book before going to sleep because I couldn't put it down and then woke up this morning to finish this second smaller book.
I was not a big fan of this book. Most of the book was the three of them going back and forth "this is wrong, but I want it!" so much I got bored. Not mention the errors I found all throughout the story. Usually I can overlook stuff like that pretty well but there were so many that it was a bit distracting. Even though I wasn't crazy about how wishy-washy they were in the beginning, I did like the characters. The book had a nice storyline to it but it ended WAY too soon. As soon as it got good it ended. Overall I was just disappointed.
Growing up with males is had enough, but being attracted to them makes things down right unbearable to live with when a new marriage takes place. Somethings are just more important and that's keeping the family business going. This is a good book and a good read. I really enjoyed the second book as well but loved the Strictly Research at the end. Well worth the read, well written. Given a free advanced copy for honest review from author Terry Towers.
I've read one other book from Terry Towers and I really enjoyed it so I thought I'd give this book a go and I loved it. I felt a connection between all the characters and felt like they actually had chemistry. Sam was still my favorite. Lol. Both boys were just so loving and sweet. And Andrea was just a good person. There were a few steamy parts which is good. Just a really good book.
I didn't think I'd like this story, but I loved it! The premise was strong and the writing was good. I liked the relationships between the characters and the dilemma that was the big conflict was realistically portrayed. There were some editing issues but they didn't detract from the overall readability of this story. The scenes were depicted well with some really Spivey sexy scenes that were very nicely done!
Holy Hot!!!!! This book melted my kindle. A rollercoaster ride of emotion as the three of them finally give in to the desires they've had for years. Written in a way that you connect with each of them on an emotional level. I can't wait to read more from Terry. Absolutely loved the bonus book as well. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
They are struggling with keeping everything afloat after there parents deaths. Andy has always been in love with the guys. When some unexpected experiences with the guys happen. She freaks out. They guys end up fighting. Will they work things out? Will they realize what they need is right in front of them? What will happen next?
Both books were good but My Twin Stepbrothers had some typos that made the story distracting at times. The conflict between the step siblings seemed realistic but after the conflict was somewhat resolved, the book ended in a rush. I was almost expecting more to happen. Second story I the book was also a good story.
Decided just to pick up something quick while I waited. It was ok, thought because there was 2 hot brothers it would be a little better. I mean don't get me wrong very entertaining, so overall I guess it did its job while I waited for my boy..lol. It definitely entertained me! ;) But definitely not on top of my best reads.
I enjoyed this steamy MFM book. Eric and Sam were twin brothers living with their step sister Andrea. When their family business needs help, they turn to each other for ideas to help it succeed. Will they find more than a solution to their business? Will HEA be possible for them? Enjoy!
The stories in this book are terrific, definitely 5 stars. But the typographical errors really detracted from reading them so I had to knock my rating down because it made it hard to read. But the stories are definitely worth reading.
Good read and very enjoyAble and I will continue to read the other story of Monica in Amsterdam too as I th I no that would be an interesting story as well.
I enjoyed this one a lot more than I thought I would! I was expecting just another step-brother rip off with kind of blah characters, but this was really well written and I kept reading the next short novel that's included inside. Really enjoyable and now I'm checking out more by this author.
ANOTHER HIT A really hot and sexy read from Terry Towers. It has a great story line that captures you from the beginning to the very end. I loved the chemistry between Andrea and the twins, Sam and Eric. I received this book as a gift for an honest review. Patsy Sacco
This is a really good take on the taboo stepbrothers romance. Andy, Sam & Eric - life had given them incredibly difficult challenges to meet and exceed. Emotions are running high, teasing thoughts start to form and relationships start to form.
3 stars for Her Twin Stepbrothers. The relationship between the characters lacked chemistry. 5 stars for the second story "Failure to Stop." You can feel the chemistry between Devon and Violet from the beginning to the end of the story.
This book had 2 books for the price of one. Only the first book, which was the main/ title was a mmf. It was also a taboo, which is about what the title says. The second one was a mf, and a second chance storyline.
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review, and honestly, Terry Towers knows how to steam up the pages. If your a fan of MFM Menage, then Her Twin Stepbrothers is the book for you.
