Let Me Be The One 2
In the book Let Me Be The One, Kane finally came face to face with the man Glenn, who violated his daughter. However, with all the gunfire that erupted in the warehouse that night he was able to get away. Unfortunately, him disappearing continues to keep Kane's daughter Lexi living in fear that he may find her again. April and Kane's mom are still estranged from each other. She blames April for what happened to Lexi and will stop at nothing to get Kane to leave her. April has tried to be cordial with his mom but when she shows up at the their house being disrespectful Kane has to put his foot down. Lucy has caused more than enough problems in Stacy's life by stalking him and trying to assassinate his woman Essence. Stacy has kept Lucy hidden from Stan to save her life but is that the real reason for his actions? Once Essence finds out, the drama unfolds and only one person will remain in Stacy's life but who will it be?

Loved it
I loved how this story played out. Good to know that Essence made Stacy work for her love, but he did make me mad when he pulled that stunt with Lucy crazy butt and at the end she got what she deserved. April and Kane where do I start, they went through so much and I'm so happy that there love conquer all. Kane momma really rubbed me the wrong why the entire time in this book because she had no reason at all to dislike April. I was like about time they handle the situation with Glenn cause it was long overdue. I loved loved loved me some Lexi and SJ them two there had me laughing the entire book. Like always Tina J never disappoints. Job well done

Great Read
I honestly feel like April and Essence deserve better men than Kane and Stacy. April was continuing to put up with Kane disrespectful ass mother. She had the nerve to blame April for Glenn hurting Lexi again while never once blaming Erica. Erica is the one who brought the sick ass bastard into Lexi life. Instead of protecting her daughter. Erica allowed Glen to violate Lexi. Kane mother was forever saying some slick shyt about her. When April tried to express how she felt. Kane got offended and disrespectful. Then when Stacy f***ed up with Essence after Kane tried to tell him Lucy wasn't worth him messing up his relationship. Stacy was mad and started acting like him and Kane mother. Ignorant asf. Blaming April because Kane was put her first after finding out April mother was shocked. Essence should've let Stacy right where he was at. His dumb ass was trying to protect Lucy from Stan when she's the one who shot Essence trying to kill her. I don't see how Stacy and Kane had been friends since they were children but didn't know April was Stan sister. Sherri wasn't nothing but a bottom of the barrel hoe. She knew who Glenn was when she screwed him but never once told Kane. Sherri was too busy telling Kane momma dumb ass lies about April instead of doing the right thing and telling knowing they were looking for Glenn. She deserved her fate. I'm glad Lexi was still pretty much a happy child after the trauma she suffered her and SJ was a mess. I swear them two kids had me laughing hard asf.

Maaaan oooh maaaan these characters aggravated me and I meant all of them.
Let us start with April having someone dictate her life like the mother-in-law to mess up her home. Then there’s Kane who just went out living his life with the mess with April.
Then Stacy is the dumbest man ever. Why would you mess with Lucy and she tried to kill Essence. Please tell me how that makes sense ugh 😑.
It took them too long to find Glenn and I still think more should have been done to him. Sherri and Lucy just grimy. SJ and Lexi too grown IMHO and need their mouth washed out with soap.
Kane’s mother was truly out of pocket on how she treated April SMH.
Happy folks got their HEA.

Reading this series gave me chills
First and foremost I’m glad they found Glenn sick perverted ass
I’m so upset for Erica and they rest of the women who was still sleeping with him knowing what he done. But this is something real life that is going on everyday with these woman letting this happen to they children.
Stacy and Essence finally got on the right track and got the happily ever after
By far I recommend this series I’ve read the other books that follows this series and they are very good too catch up with those if you have read them

I was a bit confused with all the characters and their relationship with some of the other characters!!!
I was so happy that Kane finally put his foot down where his mother was concerned!!!…She overstep many times and disrespected his wife way too many times!!!…
Everyone got the happiness they deserved and karma got those that terrorized this group of friends and family!!!…
It was the kids for me though!!!…They definitely spk the minds, even though they were told not to!!!…

True Tina j fashion Alls well that ends well.I'm a little vexed at some of the characters tho ...like Sherri and her rink azz knowing what Glenn was doing to Lexington and still hiding and sleeping with him Demetrius who wasn't sure but had a feeling this was and is my pet peeve ......Lexington having parents that loved and adored her was awesome Kane got on my nerve but his mama takes the cake that crazy Lucy bye bishhhh .....OUT FREAKING STANDING

Tina J is the truth I promise. She never discounts and all her series are good. Keep up the good work. On to the book review. Khan was a good man stood by April. Didn’t tolerate anybody disrespecting her including his mom. Stan was acting up but got himself together quick. The stuff SJ and Lexi was saying was so funny with they grown butts.

Great Read
Great ending to a great series. It picked up right where the last installment left off with drama and more drama. Lexi and SO was hilarious with their bad behinds. I really loved how Kane treated April and how April treated Lexis. Was really glad that all the snakes slithering around finally got exactly what they deserved. So glad everything turned out and everyone got their happy ending. Highly recommend this series. Great job Tina J.

I’m so glad they finally caught Glenn disgusting ah. He had the nerve to be at a park tryna take a kid ugh. All the ladies he slept with that knew about what he did to Lexi was triflin asf. I’m with April on not fooling with Kane Mama cuz she was doing toooooo much for nothing.

Loved it
This series was the bomb! Lexi and Sj had me dying with laughter. They were too funny. I loved when they whooped Lucy and they made sure they had a video too. I am happy that everything worked out in the end for everyone. Everyone was really going through it. Great writing as usual Tina J.

Disappointed
I'm just as disappointed with this as I was in part one. It was just as all over the place with an unbelievable storyline that didn't make any sense. Thank goodness I've read other books by Tina and enjoyed them because if this was my first read of hers I wouldn't have read any of her other books.

Ok book
This book will have you wanting more but it portrays woman in a negative light as if we just deal with anything men do to us and move on. I wouldn't want my children reading a book like this because it makes it seem like what the men did was ok and it's ok to forgive them so easily.

So glad they finally got Glenn! He's gross and got what he deserved and so did Lucy looney self. Kane mother was horrible and I'm mad that she treated April so bad. Stacy and Essence are on track and finally got married and welcoming a baby.

I liked the ending . I am still disappointed in Stacy behaviour, switching on everybody for no reason , then having a hard time dealing with consequences. I am happy for Lexi .

Karma Served!
All the sleazy and grimy people finally got what they deserved. The fact that some of them walked around knowing what Glen did and said nothing was deplorable which made their demise that much sweeter. Great series.

I enjoyed 1&2, so many cat fights...Erica wow is all I can say,but that mom was very messy.you would think she had crush on the son. No doubt a page turner finished both in 12 hours.
