I like books that get straight to the heart of the matter and this is the next best thing to that.
With little messing around it's not long before the author is knee deep in what the book is about.
Throughout the nook he gives you piles of scripture and demands that you check up on him.
There is a little bashing of modern religious types who believe it's all about getting rich and obtaining possessions.
The author says he will reveal what God's great promise is and he says he will reveal what you should pray for...and he does just that.
There a few dry spots as the book passes the half way mark but nothing that stops you from going on where he picks up again to finish off well.
I useful read, you will learn somethings that you had not considered. If you are newby this book will help you set off in the right direction. If you are an old hand it might help you reframe or re-align what you have been doing.

Guidance for prayer
Good book on the basic questions people have about prayer. I would recommend this book to all. It answered a lot of difficult questions.
