Forever Tattooed is the final part of Raelyn and Damien emotional story, and it picks up where Tattooed Scar ended. Raelyn has been given the all clear, and her future with Damien is looking bright. However, could secrets about Damien past get in the way of their perfect future together?

It had been a while since I had read Tattooed Scar #2, but within the first few chapters, I remember while I loved this couple. Raelyn is such a strong character, especially after all that, she has been through and still has ahead of her. Damien’s dominate, protective and compassionate side never waivers.

There were some testing times for Raelyn and Damien, but the storyline wasn’t high on the drama, and I liked that. What shone out was Raelyn and Damien connection and that the love they had for each other was deep, passionate, sexy, supportive, and strong.

With a touching epilogue, Forever Tattooed was a perfect ending to their emotional story. Alicia writing was faultless, the characters were genuine, and I hope that she is considering a book for Iris.

Forever Tattooed is the third and final installment in the Tattooed Billionaire series by Alicia Rae. This book continues the story of Damien and Raelyn and should only be read after Tattooed Emotions and Tattooed Scars. If you haven't read those yet, make sure you start there and are aware that there will be spoilers in this review for those two books. I have been waiting for this book since the minute that I finished Tattooed Scars, and I needed to see how things would end for these two. While I was ultimately happy with where they ended up, I am torn about this book itself.

Raelyn has made it through her health scare, but she is different from the woman she once was. As she struggles to regain her life and ease back into her career, she longs for Damien to finally open up to her. Damien would do anything for Raelyn, but the one thing he plans on never doing is revisiting his past. He knows that if Raelyn knew the truth, that she would leave him and he knows that he can't lose her. But will Damien's inability to fully let Raelyn in be what causes him to lose her once and for all, or will he finally open up to her about his past so that they can have a future together?

I have loved Raelyn and Damien since the very start of this series, and that wasn't any different here. These two are absolutely meant to be together, and have had more than their share of obstacles thrown their way. I wanted nothing more than for them to finally get their HEA, but I knew that it wouldn't be easy. While I loved that things finally seemed to be resolved with Raelyn's health, I hated that Damien continued to hold back when it came to letting Raelyn know about his past. He was so scared to lose her, and yet he didn't seem to realize that they love they had was strong enough to withstand anything but his inability to let her in. What I hated the most was that when it came down to it, he never did open up to her until his hand was forced. Raelyn should have found out from Damien what he had been through, not through someone else and that made me lose some respect for his character. These two still had a lot of chemistry and a stong connection, but I just wanted him to finally let her in and it just felt like he never actually did it because he loved her but instead because he had to.

My other problem with this book is that while we did finally get closure, it felt like this book wasn't entirely necessary. There was a lot that felt like it could have been condensed here, and much of it dragged on. Even though I love these characters, I was a bit disappointed with this final chapter in their story. I think that their story could have easily been resolved in a couple of books or even a couple of books and a novella. Don't get me wrong, I still really enjoyed this series and how things turned out for all the characters. But this book felt as though much of it was filler or content to stretch the story out and it could have been much shorter. Alicia Rae is still a go to author for me when it comes to contemporary romance, and if you like sweet and heartfelt romance novels you definitely need to check her books out.

"Whether we carried them on our naked flesh or in the depths of our hearts, I believed we all had scars in one way or another. Some were deep, jagged, and tender to the touch while others faded until they were faint and forgotten. It was a choice—whether one let a wound hold them back or one made themselves stronger. It was our faith and those we loved that empowered us to persevere, for acceptance and love were meant to last…forever."

For some, love does not exist. For some, love is the unattainable dream. For others, there is always someone out there who makes their life brighter. Love has several different meanings, but Rae does a really great job of summing up the many different emotions that come with that feeling of love. From doubt to desperation, sadness to overjoyed and hatred to hunger. This third installment is a trying novel, one that will challenge everything that readers have endured throughout the story. Be prepared because the road to forever for Damien and Raelyn is not all silver roses and white Lilies or you know, rainbows and butterflies.

After Raelyn’s battle with the second appearance of her Glioma tumor, Damien has given her a new strength—a new reason to want to live. She has already admitted that falling head over hills for this mysteriously dark and handsome man was not in the game plan at all, but what she doesn’t understand is why he won’t open up to her. She has shared everything with him, secrets about her past…her fight to survive the first go around with cancer and her fears. Before she can move forward and have any happily ever after with Damien, she knows that she must unravel the secrets that he hides—especially when his worthless mother and step-brother come back to throw everything in his face or worse—threaten to go public. With Raelyn still recovering from her surgery and the stress from her new business partnership, regaining a lost friendship and Damien withholding himself from her, will Raelyn snap and walk out of his life forever…or will he be her forever?

Rae has an invigorating story that is creative and well written. The pace is nice and quick, which makes reading this installment very easy. The author does a wonderful job with character development and credibility. This installment is a bit steamier than the last two which was a bit redundant. It is strongly recommended that both the first and second installment be read before diving into this one, due to the content and constant back-story references of the characters and previous scenes that unfolded beforehand. If you are a reader of romance and women’s fiction, this may be perfect for you.

I loved the story of Raelyn and Damien. I loved all the characters in the book. They were all so well developed. Each one I could actually picture they way they look. Each scene is so vivid in this book. Forever Tattooed sucked me in from the first page. This is a story you cant get enough of. You cant put it down because afraid you'll miss something. The love is so strong between them you feel it as you read their story.
Raelyn and Damien have been thru a hell of a lot. Both started their relationship with a past of hurt, secrets and demons. Raelyn has conquered hers but also it has changed and her relationship with Damien is about to open Raelyns eyes and make her think twice. Damien on the other hand, his demons are starting to surface and Raelyn is getting more frustrated that he wont open up to her. Once she does find out some of the details things start to add up for her and Damien decides its time to tell her whether he loses her or not because he's going to if he doesn't. Once he opens up to Raelyn the story throws you for a loop. You would think nothing could break these two up. But this fire is just a bit to hot for her and she has to make some heavy decisions and look at things thru Damiens eyes.
Can Raelyn and Damien make it thru this? Is their love that strong that will hold them together or is Damien's past so bad that she wont have her Forever with him? Will Damien survive his past and will he make amends with Drake and Annabelle or will he finally get them out of his life forever?
Get your box of tissues ready and a tall glass of wine coz this one is going to take you for a ride.
I gave this 5 stars because I love the characters and the story. It held me captive as all of Alicia Rae's work does. Each character is so exciting and adds so much to the story; and each one you can see as you read Forever Tattooed. I just love the emotions that are in the story and how I reacted to each one. I'm excited to go to the next story in the series.

Alicia has done it once again...This is the 3rd book of the series and it exceeded all my expectations.
Alicia had set the bar high so going into the 3rd and final book I didn't know what to expect. I was already in love with this couple, I loved their relationship, the connection between them was strong. They had lost their hearts to one another but never really lost themselves. Their story was filled with ups and downs and I couldn't wait to see what emotional roller coaster I was jumping on starting this book. I was hooked from the first page. Alicia's words consumed me!

We start where book 2 ends.

Damien pushed Raelyn to make a life changing decision. One that would give them a chance of a forever love. Forced to realise what was staring her in the face Realyn knew that she had to take a leap of faith to get her HEA and she has been given another chance. She is alive and with the man she loves everything she stumbles upon in her recovery make her stronger and more determined to live her life to the full.

This was Raelyn secret and now its out there in the open she wants to know Damien's. She wand him to trust her with his past, however Damien believes that his past should stay exactly where it is. He is scared of telling Raelyn all the ugly and loosing her. He asks for time...

Time is running out and his past is set to crash into his future but will their be anything worth fighting for left?

Raelyn knows she loves this man fiercely but with no trust they cant move forward. Annabelle and Drake are on a mission to out Damien and bring him down but will it be Damien himself that pushes Raelyn too far??

5 Finding Forever Stars!!!

The love I have for this book and this series just cannot be put into mere words. I fell in love with Damien and Raelyn in Tattooed Emotions and it's grown exponentially throughout the series. This final book in this series not only met but exceeded my hopes and dreams for this couple.

This book picks up a few months after we left these two in Tattooed Scars and while their love is stronger than ever, there are still secrets being kept and unfortunately, there are people that are bound and determined to reveal these secrets not because they need to be told, but because they want to benefit from them.

Damien and Raelyn are in love and building a life with each other. She's still in recovery mode from her life saving surgery but that doesn't stop them from loving each other to the fullest extent possible. And these two can steam up any room they're in!! And then those pesky secrets pop up.

I kind of had a feeling what Damien was trying so hard to hide, but when he finally breaks down and tells Raelyn, my heart hurt for the little boy he was and the man he is and everything he's lived through. He's the man he is today, good or bad because of this. But what matters the most is what Raelyn thinks after he tells her what he's tried so hard to hide all these years.

The love these two have for each other can be felt coming off each page as their story progresses. The more I read, the more I wanted. Yes this is the end of Damien and Raelyn's story, but I'm hoping to see them again in the future.

****Nic's Review!!!****

I was given an ARC for my honest review.

In the final book of the Tattooed Billionaire series we have Forever Tattooed. It picks up right were Tattooed Scars left off. Damien and Raelyn survived so much so far in their relationship and all seemed to be going well. Until Annabelle and Drake try to get in the middle of their relationship. Try to break them up. Can they, do it? In this book, you get more of Kate, Noah, Iris, Joshua, Suzanne, William, Cale and Ashton. There are many ups and downs. It was written well and flowed easily. You get to see how this end up for each of the character’s.
As Raelyn still heals from her major surgery she has some minor setbacks. Damien pleads with her to slow down and pace herself. Things begin to show up about Damien’s past that start to crack their relationship. Damien isn't willing to open up to Raelyn and it is causing major problems for their relationship. Raelyn cannot be with a man that can't share his past with her. Can't open up to her and trust her completely.
I am glad I read this trilogy. It was an emotional one and I am glad it ends with a HEA. I give Forever Tattooed 4 stars. I would recommend this to family and friends.

Forever and Tattooed... two things that last!

Wow!! I can hardly believe we've made it to this day, but things are happy! This is a trilogy (so far), be sure to start with Tattooed Emotions first :) This is an awesome romance about strength, perseverance, patience, trust, and love!! Don't get me wrong though, there is also stubbornness, sassyness, and humor... plus a little suspense. Everything you want in an excellent story!! And now a bit about the story...

Raelyn's recovering from surgery and Damien has been by her side every step of the way. As she gets back into the swing of things again they begin to plan their wedding, but the past can't seem to stay buried. Annabelle is back and seems to be out for blood. Will the truth set Damien free or will Raelyn go running for the hills??

Favorite passages:
- I was swamped with back-to-back meetings all day. I needed to focus, concentrate.
- Success wasn’t built on a fat bank account with commas in the total figure; it was made on having a job that one truly loved wholeheartedly.
- If this is what retirement will be like, I’m going to start counting down the days.” Iris rotated to face Joshua, arching a brow. “You mean, years.” “Shit, don’t remind me.” Joshua sighed gravely.

⭐️ 4 STARS ⭐️

Forever Tattooed is a story I’d been anticipating the release for a while and the wait was really worth it. It takes place three months after Raelyn’s risky brain surgery while she’s recovering and trying to adjust to the changes in her life this procedure brought her.

As in the previous books of the trilogy, the connection between Damien and her is very profound and beautiful. This story is mostly depicting their beautiful romance without any big drama, so I would say it’s a sweet read I highly enjoyed. The biggest tension in this read comes from parts of Damien’s past he keeps hidden from Raelyn in fear of being rejected by her. It’s a process for both main characters to completely let the other in, but their love is so strong that I felt nothing could tear them apart.

It’s definitely a book and series to read for its lovely romance with characters that grow so much from the beginning.

oh wow what an end to a cracking trilogy loved every one of these books.

finally we get to find out about Damien's past and how he got his scars some scenes in this book had me in tears of either happiness or sadness.

raelyn is one feisty girl and I love her for it and Damien being as stubborn and controlling as he his their relationship is to die for the love that these two have is unbreakable. i also love how we get to read from Damien's pov as well in this book getting into the mind of the sexy yet troubled sex god.

cracking end to a cracking trilogy and can't wait to read more from this author and by god i hope she is gonna give iris and tryston their own story cause wow that looks like it will be one hot relationship.

so sad that this has ended cause raelyn and Damien are my new fav couple .

The fact that this book is out makes me so sad. Don't get me wrong - I freaking love this series. I'm sad that Damien and Raelyn's story is complete and we won't be getting any more. I'm not usually a fan of the billionaire romances but I think Alicia Rae could write about watching paint dry and make it awesome.

Forever Tattooed follows Damien and Raelyn's story and picks up after the surgery she had at the end of book 2. I won't give anything away there.

Except to see Drake and Annabelle sticking their noses in Damien's life and trying to cause trouble where there isn't any. We also get to see William and Suzanne again.

I loved this book soo much!! The epilogue was amazing!! I'm just going to sit back and cross my fingers that since Damien and Tryston are best friends we will get to see Damien and Raelyn again (assuming Tryston is the next one to get a book...wink wink)!

The third book in the Tattooed Series by Alicia Rae was no less emotional than the others and it made it hard for me to put Forever Tattooed down.

Getting a second chance at life should be a good thing, but not when your head is filled with doubt and there are people around you determined on destroying you.

Picking up where book two finishes, Damien and Raelyn think their lives are moving well, but secrets from the past come back to haunt.

The ending of this trilogy was beautifully written and it gave you the answers you had been seeking.

The flow of the story line was one I really loved and there are definitely some other characters that I am curious to see if we see more of in the future.

Such a fantastic read!

This is a four star read for me.

A beautifully written love story and I have thoroughly enjoyed the full series. This book is the conclusion to a three part series and it answer most of the questions that had me unable to put the book down, although I must admit there is definately more to know about some of the other characters. Hopefully there will be some spin offs in the future.

Raelyn is cured although her recovery is slower than she would like. Damian's family continue to dredge up his past which he does not want to share.

Raelyn and Damian's story continues to force a lot of emotions but they do find their HEA.

Don't miss this book. I'm waiting now for the story of Iris.

A much anticipated, sweet ending to a sweet series. While I most enjoyed TATTOOED SCARS & EMOTIONS, I felt a bit let down with this book. More than likely it's due to my own personal over anticipation. This book just felt rushed to me, but still keeping Rae and Damian push/pull relationship intact. The confrontations with Annabelle and Drake, just felt lacking. Overall I still loved Rae and Damian, when he finally came clean with his haunting past, my heart broke.

Finally

Just WOW Alicia I have waited it seems like forever on this book. Book 2 left me crying my eyes out but too these two come full circle was well worth it. I don't blame her for some the chose she made but it sure didn't take him long to come to her. Men are so stubborn and hard headed. I understand where he was coming from but it would of saved all that heartache if he would of just opened up. I loved this book now is IRIS getting her own book?

Forever Tattooed is the gripping conclusion to the Tattooed Billionaire Series. The author draws you back into the story from where it ended in Tattooed Scars. It was wonderfully written. The characters were well developed and realistic. You could feel the connection and love that Rae and Damien had coming off the pages. This is a great ending to their love story.
