I read this book from another website, but since it's also being sold here, I'm reviewing it here as well. Over all, I think this was a pretty good and well developed read. I don't however understand how the title actually fits the story

Dysfunctional

Damn, this was a crazy read to say the least. To say that Nikki, and Shannon had an dysfunctional family would be an understatement. The things those sisters went through were beyond horrible, but they all dealt with it in there own special way. One using sex and drugs as an escape, one turning into a lesbian, and one being scarred having a hard time letting her husband get close to her. Ahmed made a lot of dumb decisions but he was a damn good father, and loved his wife. This was a good book, crazy but good.

Scratching my head.....

The title leads you to think one way of this story. What I appreciated about this story is that the outcome of the Evans girls is realistic. Each one dealt with their childhood traumas in opposite ends of the spectrum. I kept cringing at the flashbacks, I didn't want those visuals. Other than that, I enjoyed the story. I've told people about it.

You call yourself a pastor.

How can a father take their kids innocents? How does a mother ignore, her girls plea for help? Could someone be that blind?
