Former Navy Seal turned investigative consultant Jake Palmer is in New York with his London-based love interest Fiona Collins when he has a seemingly chance encounter with a US Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agent. Together, they pursue those behind a global counterfeit medicine and money-laundering operation. As the case enfolds, Palmer makes a startling discovery that raises his personal stake in the outcome and reveals the real reason the murdered HSI agent wanted him involved.

The Charlotte, North Carolina, native is a former US Navy lieutenant, combat veteran, and corporate executive. Over twenty-five years of Ron’s professional career was in research and development with a British pharmaceutical company, including an expatriate assignment in England where he and his wife worked and maintained a residence for several years. He retired from the company as the global vice president of R&D quality and compliance and began studying creative writing and authoring novels that reflected those that he enjoyed reading.

Ron and Mildred reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay where he is currently working on his next Jake Palmer novel.
