Short, sweet, and heartfelt. this is one of thise anti-inspiration books, it is inspiring in spite of itself.
The story of the physical end of a spiritual relationship. The body of the teacher expires but his teaching never does.
In the sanskrit of the ancient Sanatana Dharma this is Vapu and Vani. Vapu is the form. we shoukd serve the form of the teacher but it is temporary. We should make sure to take and remember the teaching, the vani, because it is what we will be left with.
This book is a portrait if that. Personal and honest. i liked it.
The section on the necessity of perseverance after a fall was particularly helpful to me: "What makes our life pleasing to God is not what we accomplish but how sincerely we try."
