Vortex is the fourth book in the Tides series. I found the whole series a pleasure to read. While fiction, they are so realistic as to make you feel the author's words: the anger, rage, fear, pain, happiness, love, and passion. Once you start reading each book, you'll find it very difficult to put them down. I found myself caring about the characters and was disappointed that there wasn't more!

This book, the last of the Tide series, was different from the rest, but still very enjoyable! The descriptions were vivid as usual, there was still some on the edge of your seat anxiety over what will happen next.
The best part of this book was the fantastic way it ended. A perfect ending to a great series of books!

The author successfully transports the reader to the world of merpeople. both on land and in the sea, making the series a pleasureable & intriguing read.
