Can a love filled with secrets really be considered love? How can two people who share so much know so little about one another? Was it real? Was it a dream? Could it all be a figment of their perfect imagination with the fairytale ending?
Breon wondered these things continuously after secrets come to light. Unsure of where to go or what to do, she decided to stay and figure it out with her love. Wren is the one for her and the only person who makes it all so confusing but make perfect sense at the same time.
For Brasi and Lu to have been in love for years, it feels as if they’re struggling to stay there. With both of them thinking it would be easier to maintain a relationship, not only their love is put to the test, but so is their sanity.
How much fight can one person have in them? Both of them have fought through one thing after the other, and are in desperate need of some relief. Anger, lies, love, jealousy, and a host of other emotions are now tossed into the mix. Will what they share remain strong enough to pull them through, or will they throw in the towel and move on to something easier and a lot less aching to their heart?

I never expected the person that was behind the downfall of the crew. It's always someone that's right under your nose. However, I'm so glad that Lu was in recovery, and I'm ecstatic that Brasi and her, are going to try for another baby, after losing the first one.
Who could've ever known that little timid Breon would have Wren wrapped around her finger?! The way he crashed that so-called wedding was everything. Wren knew what he wanted, and he went after it. I don't like the fact that everyone treated Breon like she was a child. Sometimes a person have to make their own choices, and even her father didn't respect anything that she had to say, which to me, was ridiculous.
Chrissy lost it, and never recovered. I understood the madness behind her husband's infidelities, but the side pieces just should have gotten a beatdown and it should've been left to that. Once she realized that she was losing herself, she should've walked away from the marriage. She was doing the most, then have the nerves to cry. I went from having sympathy for her, to wanting to strangle her.
A'Zayler did the dam* thing in this series, and I highly recommend it.
Hilarious how Wren ran down on Breon and took her away. I don't know what she was thinking when she agreed to that mariage. Lu is a fighter for real, glad that she pulled through. Brasi was about to lose it for real for real. So happy that all the snakes were taken care of. The ending felt a bit rushed but it was such an entertaining read I can't even be mad though. Can't wait to read the spin-off.
This series has it good and bad . It was too much when the court room played out how can you do what they did and get away with it . And I hated what role Chrissy played in this book I don't want to spoil it but it annoyed me . I loved how the couples found love and friendship with each other .
I loved Bre and Wren's relationship!! Uzomo and Joc tho! I knew he liked her! I can't wait to read about them. I was soooo surprised about Chrissy! She was a sneaky lil bih! All in all it was a great story!
She does it again. I don't think I've ever read a book by A'zayler that was not five stars. I'm so disappointed in Chrissy. Glad the dad got what he deserved too.
Man I never saw that coming. I figured it was Breon's dad but who would have guessed all the other people were involved as well. I'm ready for the story of Uzoma and Joc. Great job A'Zayler.
I'm happy this wasn't the average hood story. Yes, it was based in the hood it had so much more to it than that. I would have given it 5 stars if it was more accurate. The fact that you made Breon Muslim was great, the thought that she and her intended were going to marry in a church was not. The idea that Wren was considerate enough to join her in praise was great, the notion that they could do it together, IN A CHURCH ON A SUNDAY was silly. I applaud your effort though. Try speaking to a Muslimah about Islam, I'm sure you will get a better understanding and be able to write a story for Breon and Wren.
Heartbeat of the block was actually a favorite of mine, but in this last installment I felt like it was too fast , I don't like the fact that it didn't really have a real ending to Lu and Brasi, Kindo, or Wren and Breon. It was good overall just wish it was a little more to it .
I loved this whole series from the first book all the way to the third the story line just flowed!! Brasi is definitely bae but he got some competition with the other main male characters in this book. I cant wait to read the other guys stories. Awesome read though i definitely was not disappointed.
Glad Kindo wasn't involved with that mess. Chrissy I don't know what to say about her. My man Wren stepped up to the plate and put his hard exterior to the side and found Love. Bren such a good person. Brasi and Lu need to get married. I can't wait for Uzoma and Zino story
Excellent and exciting couldn't believe Chrissy would do Lu that way. I was like no way she like a daughter and to see how her husband did her couldn't made her snap. GREED and DISLOYAL was all over the place. Very well told SERIES can't wait for Zion and Zoma story
This was a good series!! I loved everything about Wren and Breon. Brasi and Lu are still at it with Brasi being locked up in jail and still not knowing who set him up. Lu is doing her best to figure things out. Secrets come out that I wasn't expecting at all. Great story A'Zayler!
Good series to read. I loved the friendships and relationships everyone had. This was straight to the point which was great. Wren was all types of crazy but in a good way. Byron such a gentle soul. Lu was just crazy but just right for Brasi. Loved the series it's a good read.
Loved this ending!!! I never thought it would have been Chrissy, she really turned her back on the only ones who helped her. I can't believe she was Breon's mom, wth... I'm so glad Lu pulled through. This book did not disappoint, it was great. Looking forward to Zino and Umoza story!!!
After all the drama has settled and done it's always a snake in the grass so close that you can't even sleep that's why you got to keep your grass cut low I'm glad these two sisters made it out with billows in life Luedella of these characters I can't wait to get more the young black
This was a good series. I loved how they were soooooooo in love with each other and all the twists and turns that was coming from everywhere and just when I thought I knew who it was...BOOM!!!! The author turned it into someone else. Great read. Now on to the next story by Mz. A'Zayler.....Until next time...Kisses
Book 3 took me by surprise!!!!! I was sooooo shocked about the events that happen in this story... don't get me wrong it was definitely a page turner and A must read!!!
I love reading anything by Azayler. She takes each character to another level. She never ceases to amaze me this was absolute must read and like always can't wait for more from her. Btw the way Bre-Bee religion tied into the Story I was in absolute awe
Loved the whole series i wish it was a lil more on Brasi and Lu but i guess it ended well. Didnt ecpect that with Wren amd Breon seems like it was all cut into a summary for no reason unless they have there own story coming. Either or great series jacked up ending
Another good read u got me hooked.Brasi and Lu off the chain.Wren and Breon are cute.I sure love the Thug in the men.Love it so much makes me glad my husband of 12 yrs.is from the streets.Keep writing.Thanks.
Even though with a few errors I really enjoyed the storyline very happy about the ending but shocked as hell about some of the drama and secrets that was revealed
I can't wait to read Uzoma's story because he is so deep and diverse. Wren was such a boss he was perfect for Brassi. Can't wait til the next book drops.
