I'm finally an art history student, which means I get to read all these impressive arty books.
Ha! Are you impressed yet?
No, but seriously - art history is quite cool and so far it has made me want to read all sorts of books that take place in Renaissance Florence, so if you have recommendations, let me know.
This was my first book having to do with the lectures and I got it from the library solely because I am fascinated by the painting in question - Botticelli's Primavera.
(Do yourself a favour and google it. So gorgeous! Pretty sure Gucci's perfume advert "Flora" a couple of years ago was directly inspired...)

I don't want to go into depth about this particular interpretation of the painting, but yay, Horst Bredekamp, you had some great points that will hopefully aid me in the exams.
