Skate Monkey: Fear Mountain

Rate this book
Monkey and his friends, Zu and Sandy, lived in the Emperor's Cloud Palace. But they played all sorts of tricks on people, so, as a punishment, the Jade Emperor sent them down to Earth. They can only return if they prove that they can use their magical powers for good. Adventure is never far away!

In Fear Mountain, beastly cries, giant footprints and mysterious events at a funfair are causing trouble every night. Can the friends find out what is going on, and save the day?

I think that it is kind of scary. They went searching for a beast and the beast was a dragon and then they tried to kill it! It had glowing eyes, sharp white teeth. It looked like a dragon! It also has horns.
I would recommend this for Year1 - Year 2 students.

Easy enough story to read, printed on paper using a font that is dyslexia friendly. A decent wee book that might well engage younger reluctant readers.
