Watch out for the backfiring pranks!!

OMG! You will laugh until you cry and then you will be so thankful you are reading this and not living it!! Remember the crazy Tyler Mitchell pranks... well Jax can beat his father by a long shot! And now a bit about the story...

The whole Mitchell clan is back together at the Mitchell ranch in Kentucky. The family is so big now they have to celebrate in the barn, the same fancy event barn built for Savanna and Colt's wedding. After the annual reading from the Mitchell-Healy Twas the Night before Christmas storybook, the family pranks begin. But one of these will backfire! Watch out for the blast!!

Favorite Passage: Besides, it's Christmas. It's about forgiving, and being thankful, but mostly appreciating life and the real reason for the season.

This clan is such a train wreck, yet I can't stop reading about them. All the antics and inappropriate behavior and jokes keep me laughing. I'm sort of surprised that the kids don't end up more warped than they are. You would think with Christmas the pranks would be scaled back, instead they seemed to get ramped up, something that seems to happen when everyone is together feeling the need to 1 up each other. I think the Grinch got what he deserved!

I always love these Christmas novellas and this one had me rolling. LOL! The Mitchell Men were going to do something really special for all the kids when they went to bed on Christmas night. Something that would have the kids talking about it for years to come. Then Jax comes in on his own with something else to have everyone talking. Well, one thing leads to another and some things go wrong. Leave it to Jax to screw a holiday up. This novella was laugh out loud funny. There were so many parts where I couldn’t help myself from snort laughing. I absolutely loved this one and hope they keep on coming.

If you love the Mitchell/Healy family and wonder what they are up to this Christmas then read this book! Not only did it give me the Christmas feels, it had me in stitches of laughter! I love how much love the whole family has for each other and they aren’t afraid to show it. This book is easy to follow and an enjoyable Christmas read. I devoured this short novella in one sitting and was left not only wanting more, but to re read all of the series.

Its Christmas Eve and the Mitchell – Healy family have all come together to spend it with one another. The evening starts with Colt reading the traditional Christmas story to his grandkids, great nieces and nephews in the barn. Later that evening Miranda gets the brilliant idea to keep the kids believing in the magic of Christmas by getting the adults to dress up as Santa and some elves to trick the kids into believing they saw Santa. Not wanting his plan to be upstaged by the other adults, Jax carries on with his plan to make Christmas one that the children will never forget,. Forget seeing Santa and his elves, Jax’s trick will go down in history, so he thinks. Join the Mitchell – Healy family for a Christmas they won’t forget in a hurry!

I love the holiday visits with the Mitchell – Healy families. Not only are they filled with love & family but also lots of fun and pranks and this year was no exception. I love seeing what kind of trouble they can get themselves into. It is also really great to catch a glimpse of where everyone is and how they are doing after the conclusion of their stories. It was a great & entertaining book and if you are familiar with the series I would recommend picking this up and if you are not familiar with the series it is one you don’t want to miss.

This family NEVER disappoints me. Each time we catch up with the Mitchell family we know we are in for a laugh. Each of the characters, especially the men had me in fits of laughter. Having a catch up with my favorite book family after the series has been completed leaves me with a sigh of relief. I adore each of these characters and feel like they are my own family. Bravo Jenn on another fabulous Christmas novella!
