Senokai į rankas nebuvau paėmusi trumpo ir lengvo meilės romanėlio. Dabar galvoju, gal ir nevertėjo imti, nes dažniausiai jie mane nuvilia savo standartiškumu, kai visada tiksliai žinai kas ir kaip toliau bus.
Ši knygelė kiekviename puslapyje šaukte šaukia apie prabangą. Kvino turtai pabrėžiami kas antras puslapis (vilki Armani, išsiima auksinį rašiklį, o jo namai, žinoma rūmai). Pasiūlo Danielei jo namuose dirbti su deimantu, na, ir kas gi atsispirs tokiam pasiūlymui, dideli pinigai nuperka viską, tuo pačiu ir merginą. Banalu, žinoma. O toliau kaip priklauso: trauka, aistra, šiek tiek melo ir audringų susitaikymų.
Ko trūksta, tai vidiniai veikėjų jausmai, kai jie nors akimirkai nenarstytų vienas kito akimis, nes žmonės, kurie galvoja vien apie seksą labai netikroviški. Tačiau, toks šių knygelių standartas, jos neskirtos nagrinėti žmonių vidų bei gilesnius jausmus.
Vis tik, kuo daugiau metų prabėga, tuo labiau man tokio tipo knygutės supanašėja. Norisi atrasti įdomesnių siužetų, bet panašu, kad dauguma jų mėgina įrodyti, kad tikra meilė tik tada, kai yra pinigų, kitaip meilės romanas neįmanomas.

I didn't like it, the connection between the hero and heroine felt forced. I also didn't like hero was still in love with his deceased wife. Np.

Dani me encanta, es la única que cree que el viejo Blackstone podía ser noble. Pero la verdad no tarda en ser develara, y el pasado y los secretos pueden ser mas dolorosos de lo que creemos! Pero a pesar de todo, ella es noble y sabe personar. Ademas, su dinámica y la relación con la familia me gusta.
Quinn es tremendamente sexy y hot! la química entre estos dos protagonistas es increíble. Y el amor de ellos es hermoso.
Espectacular narrada la escena de la subasta. Quien no sintió la tensión sexual! uff me encantó!

ended rather abruptly, as these tye of novels tend to do. the first 150 or so pages were enjoyable though.

Wow the sex scenes between Danielle and Quinn are scorchingly hot! But I hated all the secrets he's keeping from her...and how he hurt her so terribly.
Danielle was lovely but quite poor thing because she grew up not feeling a sense of belonging. Quinn had lots of hatred for Howard Blackstone so I was glad to see him being able to separate that hatred for one man from the rest of the family and biz.
Port Douglas setting was beautiful.
