Rate this book
Alebraheem has been studying the structure of the human mind since he was fifteen. He is recognized as a self-help author, a guest on Kuwait TV and US radio shows as well as a column writer for the well-known Kuwaiti newspaper ALQABAS. His articles cover various spheres of life: politics, society, philosophy, science, and everyday life matters. Alebraheem's writing attempts to see things from alternative angles, searching for patterns and creating successful habits for life. As a journalist, Alebraheem was inspired to write his first book, 5 Essential Dimensions which was translated into English from Arabic. He is busy writing his second book on the tough topic of the meaning of life.

Book Idea

This book unveils an amazing theory. Our lives have five dimensions that are essential for living a healthy, successful, and tranquil existence. These are our financial, social, internal, physical, and spiritual affairs.

This book offers

Insight into helping us recognize the five life dimensions. It will teach us how to bring these dimensions into balance. Ultimately, it will show how we can reach our goals in every dimension.

This Book will help to ...

* Recognizing life's five essential dimensions.

* Offer tools to keep dimensions in homeostasis

* Revise lives by comparison to other philosophies

Book Story

This book offers advice for human betterment, and while humans today become transfixed with money and pleasure, it summarizes wisdom from previous cultures.

Book Idea

We cannot reach our potential as individuals unless all five of these life dimensions are balanced. If we neglect any one of them, the ensuing disharmony destroys our tranquility and can wreck our lives.

The 5 Essential Dimensions is an attempt to prevent this happening. It is a comforting counterweight to the lure of money, a steadying influence on the bodies that carry us, a stable platform for the social ladders that we rise up on, and a net that protects us from falling. It is a compass for our thoughts, and a safeguard for the soul that will remain after our bodies have perished. When the prescription in The 5 Essential Dimensions is followed it will bring us tranquility and satisfaction, making us better prepared to enjoy life’s happy moments and to cope with its sad ones.

Today, we are witnessing enormous advances in the fields of science and commerce. Unfortunately some of us are mere bystanders, standing apart from this great achievement, like people not yet touched by the civilization that has gripped the rest of our world. These unfortunates watch science and its accomplishments without deriving any benefit from it. Picture such a man. He lives in a cave, or in the middle of a forest. Perhaps he is a subsistence farmer, standing outside the walls of his village near a remote airstrip, watching a plane landing that seems to be heading straight for his village. After it has passed and dazzled him he picks up his spear and returns to his farm, neither wondering how it flies, nor where it comes from, or where it goes.

There is no shame in refusing to keep up with technology, or in failing to acquire the latest devices. It is a personal choice. The shame is in failing to be human.

“Life is about change, sometimes it’s painful, sometimes it’s beautiful, but most of the time it’s both.”
~IdleHearts.com

Our life is filled with a kaleidoscope of variety. In order to have it is kept balanced we must ensure the five elements of existence are kept aligned. Our lives have a total of five dimensions that revolves around financial, social, internal, physical, and spiritual affairs.

Each one of these items elements is essential to our overall happiness and success. When one of them is not in balance it can throw off our ability to succeed and live a fulfilling life. This book provides the insight to discover what steps needs to be taken to ensure that each one is given proper attention.

5 ESSENTIAL DIMENSIONS: HOW TO BALANCE YOUR LIFE FOR HEALTH, SUCCESS, AND CONTENT is a very thought provoking book. It provides in-depth knowledge that is crucial to the livelihood of any individual.

A.A. Albraheem is an author who is an expert in his field. He has proven to me that he has conducted research that dates back thousands of years to prove that his method of success is solid and reliable. I found his level of commitment to be very commendable. Authors of similar titles fail to put in the time and effort Mr. Albraheem has devoted. This fact sets him far ahead of the competition for I know that the information he is providing has been tried and is assured to work.

I love self help books, motivational books, life coach books whatever you want to call them; the success of my life I know is greatly due to reading them and driving me past ruts in my life that were holding me back. You can dream all you want, but a dream is just that, a dream, only action, breaking down fear walls and being willing to fail and fall hard will you make a dream reality.
The book breaks down into five essentials of life that I think are bang on, financial, social, internal, physical and spiritual. The author breaks each of the five essentials into multiple subsections I like this a lot because it allows you to read more specific to what you are needing in the moment instead of a long winded diatribe. One essential, Spiritual rang a bell with me, in a day and age where Atheist’s are ever growing and children are growing up with a mocking of religion I see more and more an emptiness with out a spiritual internal. The author points this out in a way that is non secular it doesn’t have to be a one religion and if you don’t believe in “X” God you are wrong, having that spiritual self lets you know you are never truly alone and gives you a internal voice to talk.
Physical essential, thank you for this. We have never lived in a day and age where people are falling apart more than ever and not caring at all about it, epidemic obesity in children, Teens and adult, and a society brainwashed to accept it and to be shamed if you try to point it out. The author makes it simple and easy to understand, water, good nutrition and movement yes as simple as movement in a time where many get out of bed sit in their car drive to work, sit in a chair at work, get back in there car and get home and sit on a couch or in front a tablet or computer then go to bed and rinse repeat the next day, ok now I am ranting.
I liked this book it tells you the truth plain and simple and I think it does it in a way that sinks in.

5 essential dimensions

Read on KU

The 5 essential Dimensions is a self help book that covers the financial, physical, social, internal and spiritual aspects of our lives, and in doing so says that if any one of these is out of balance it affects the overall equilibrium of our lives.

The books is well laid out with the 5 sections each having a sub category. As with all self helps books this is not one you will read and discard as it is very in depth, this is a book that you will come to time and time again.

I found it to be a very thought provoking book, and loved that it gives you the tools and tips to help you achieve equilibrium in all aspects of your life. After reading it I can see where the author is coming from and found myself agreeing with nearly everything he said in the sections - apart from the spiritual section - my belief in God is none existent and I do not see why I need him to create equilibrium in my life, though I guess I am somewhere in between being a believer and being a non-believer (if such a thing exists)

Thought-Provoking Book That Will Change And Balance Your Life!

“The hypothesis of this book is that seeking pleasure does not lead to pleasure; but attaining tranquility is possible, and can be achieved by balancing the five fundamental elements of our lives. These are our finances, our bodies, our relationships, our inner selves and our souls.”

As humans, we all seem to be trying to find balance in our lives. It seems we find balance in one area and something else goes crazy. Alebraheem shows us there are 5 essential dimensions like the fingers on a hand: financial, physical, social, internal and spiritual. He takes the time to dissect each one for a clearer understanding. But he doesn’t stop there as he leads us on the path of how to balance all 5 simultaneously, with the final result of attaining equilibrium in our lives. At first glance many may think this is just another new-age self-help book, however they would be mistaken. Alebraheem has clearly spent many years studying this subject as he comes across very knowledgeable and with a book that is well written. As a Christian I found it to be very insightful. It is a fast-paced read, however it is such a powerful and inspiring guide that I find I’m referring to it more and more, gaining new insight each time. Inspirational, well-written, thought-provoking book that will change and balance your life!

This book tells us how to gain our full potential as human beings by creating balance with in all 5 of our essential dimensions. The 5 dimensions are financial, social, internal, physical and spiritual. All of these dimensions need to be in equilibrium for us to be whole people.

The book starts out describing happiness, and how we can find true happiness. True, permanent happiness cannot be found in food, or sex, or even other people. We have to find a balance with in ourselves to obtain that happiness that we all desire.

Then the book goes on to describe all of the parts of the 5 essential dimensions, how we may be able to achieve them, and what things may get in the way of equilibrium. There is some great advice in this book, and if helped open my eyes to the things I am doing in my day to day life that I didn't even realize were obstacles that I was facing in order to obtain equilibrium. Even little things like not drinking enough water can be detrimental to your being.

If you are looking for a way to understand all the complicated facets of our lives, then definitely check out this book. The information in these pages can help you to become the person that youve always wanted to be, the advice is easy to follow, and the information makes so much sense. Soon you will be on your way to equilibrium.

There is lots and lots of useful information in here!

But there's also a very judgmental view on our supposed relationship with God.
I found that part really annoying!

If you can read past it, like I managed in the end, there's a lot to learn.
I have honestly never taken so much time to finish a book.
Not an easy read at all.

Maybe it has to do with the book I read just before this one:
Mind to mind conversation by Denis Hachey.
Very different but very much more easily readable.

I received a free copy and this is my honest review.

I loved how this novel was full of great advice and solid examples. I didn't feel like I was being told how to do something by someone who didn't have legitimate facts backing them up.

The way it is written is extremely easy to follow and gives you a step by step process.

The flow was a bit convoluted at times due to the fact that some ideas are repeated because they do come into play at different times in the process, but other than that it is a solid read.
