A delightful, colorful picture book. - The first three chronicles of the church mice of Wortlethorpe Parish Church and their friend, Sampson, the Church Cat.

This book is an omnibus edition including the first three books in Graham Oakley's Church Mice series: The Church Mouse The Church Cat Abroad The Church Mice and the Moon. I was spurred on to reread Graham Oakley's books on learning that he died in late December 2022. I have read them all many times before, as they were great favourites with the whole family when my children were growing up. I am pleased to say that they are just as funny as I remembered, and the pictures are still a delight. I particularly enjoyed The Church Mice and the Moon.
My favorite book from when I was a kid. My grandmother picked it up for me while she was in England. Still pick it uo once and awhile to flip through, but I'm very careful with it. Copies seem pretty hard to come by.
Contains the first three books of the series: The Church Mouse, The Church Cat Abroad, and The Church Mice and the Moon. I own this treasury, but will review the stories separately under their titles.
