Read it on the plane ride to NYC for the marathon. Recommended reading for distance runners.

I read this book because I needed a “sports” for my yearly reading challenge, and my husband, a runner, had it on hand and suggested it. It was really cool to watch Lindgren’s progression and hear his inner thoughts - the same ones we all have of not being good enough, regret, and how to overcome defeat. His straightforward attitude is motivating, and his tips for being a good runner are great overall that could be applied to anything. Three stars only because as a non-runner, sometimes it felt tedious to read through all the lingo.
