Troy est une planète où chacun possède un pouvoir magique différent. Lanfeust, doté de tous les pouvoirs, court les chemins en quête d'aventures. Mais il est recherché par des visiteurs venus d'outre-espace. Il apprend qu'il est, avec le terrible pirate Thanos, le résultat d'une expérience sur les pouvoirs psy, menée depuis des millénaires par les Princes-Marchands de la planète Meirrion. Ceux-ci ont envoyé un de leurs agents, la séduisante et énergique Glace, pour récupérer leurs résultats. Mais la confédération d'Abraxar fait tout pour contrecarrer les projets de Meirrion. C'est accompagné du troll Hébus et de la belle Cixi, que Lanfeust quitte Troy pour découvrir que, loin dans les étoiles, il pourraît être au centre des principaux combats de l'univers...

Christophe Arleston is the common pen name of French comic book writer and editor Christophe Pelinq. He is best known for creating the Lanfeust of Troy series and its many sequels and prequels.

He also worked as "Scotch Arleston".

Awesome artworks, sadly this second series of the Lanfeust of Troy saga is absolutly not as good as the original one and there was really no need of a Sci-Fi twist in setting and storyline.
But was still great meeting again Lanfeust, Cixi and Hebus the Troll.

I've always rather liked it when a fantasy setting goes off to space. This one's already starting out better than the last series was, save maybe for Thanos still sticking around - I never much liked him. Great artwork, high in imagination.

The story had a very absurd climax, which is why I am giving four stars. The characters are pleasant and the background storyline is strong.

I found the concept of the birth of Troy very similar to the story in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Maybe there was some inspiration taken from this piece.

Les aventures de Lanfeust continuent mais avec une tout autre dimension : Troy n'est qu'un tout petit point à l'échelle de l'univers.
Ce tome installe la nouvelle histoire. Il permet également de redécouvrir nos personnages principaux favoris comme Cixi ou Hébus et d'en introduire de nouveaux.
J'espère que les tomes suivants seront plus animés.

This is the first book in the second Lanfeust series.( Lanfeust being one of the biggest seller of bandes dessinees in France in the last 20 years...)
I can recognize some of the things that made Lanfeust so famous and fun but to me this is not as good as the original ( which I did reread recently). It however is still very decent so it gets a 3 stars from me and I will keep reading.

Ahhh Lanfeust... One of the finest comics I've read when I was young.. And I'm glad I finally got a chance to get started on the next episode: Lanfeust of the stars..
It was funny, action packed, easy to read.. And of course great drawing like before..
I'm a fan and I'm going to get started on the next one ;)
