Sometimes you get exactly what you wished for. I found this series by searching for 'dark manga' and now realise that the first volume was just a scene setter! The nature of Dead Tube is finally revealed to protagonist Machiya... different 'teams' film a designated target looking hoping to get the big monetary reward for the most views on Dead Tube, which ultimately leads to sex and sexual violence as the target audience crave. And the 'team' with the lowest views, they get expertly framed for any criminal acts on the target! Fully in the game Machiya looks on as his replacement teacher is targeted! Will he intervene? Dark is putting it lightly. Character development is slow but evolving; but it is the no holds barred plotting that drives this one, including some superb early twists. Another Four Star, 8 out of 12 for this mega trigger-filled series.
