I found many good principles to think upon in Mr. Bridges' book. He encourages us to always speak (and think) in agreement with God's Word, rather than letting the circumstances we see with our eyes control our thoughts and emotions. This book helped to further my understanding of what living in grace covenant with God entails.

I especially found his teaching on expectations helpful. He points out that our expectations either hinder us from receiving what God intends for us or align us for the flow of God's provision. It depends on whether we choose to complain about the lack we see in our lives or agree with what God says in His Word, thereby opening the door for miracle intervention as we need it. The reminders to discipline ourselves to declare what God speaks were powerful as well.

The book was written by an educated person, that much is obvious. I have problems with it though. First off, there are numerous exclamations such as “Wow!” and “What a blessing!” These are appropriate when giving a sermon, or a speech of any kind to emphasize what the desired effect is for the audience, but it does not translate well to a book and is rather distracting. On top of that, the author gives a ‘holier than thou’ vibe with a lot of personal stories that seem to be attempts to say how great of a person he is instead of the blessings that were given by God. Lastly, the book is basically claiming that if you behave well then God will bless you. The book goes on to describe how great God is to his followers. It’s basically a self help book claiming that if you do good you get good. But there are MILLIONS on non-Christians that receive these same benefits so it’s not a good argument. Also, the point of Christianity isn’t a ‘look at me’ attitude, but one that is for a deep desire to help others. Being incredibly blessed through service to others is a by product, not the reward. The book makes it out like that is the main reward. It’s frustrating to see a Christian book that is all about how you can be served from Christianity instead of the blessing and great feelings that come with being a good Christian and doing things for the benefit of others and the benefit of advancing God’s kingdom.

One of the most selfish things that a believer can do is refuse to prosper. If you don't make up your mind that you are going to allow God to use you to reach everyone around you and demonstrate His goodness through you, then you are missing out on a tremendous opportunity. (Kynan Bridges, Supernatural Favor, Page 167-168)

The author shows you what God has said in the Bible concerning His favour upon you. Whether you realize it or not, God's favour surrounds you like a shield. This favour will cause you to be promoted, financially blessed and receive preferential treatment. This is not because of what you have done, but because what God has done in you through Christ. Blessings will attack you and chase you down.

You are a son and daughter of Abraham and the blessings of Abraham are upon you. This book shows you how to appropriate these blessings, so that you can be a blessing to others.

All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the LORD your God (Deuteronomy 28:2)

Too charismatic for me

I picked up on the charismatic bent of this author in the first paragraph, and confirmed my impression by googling him. I decided to continue reading, anyway. While I appreciated being reminded of what my relationship to God as His child means insofar as blessings, I was put off by the "name it and claim it" / "decree and declare" prosperity gospel-ness of this book.

Life Changing!

This book is causing a major paradigm shift in me, but I truly believe it's because I've been moving towards this change over the last few years. It has been a long journey especially coming from the new age practices and then giving my life over to God. Now I am speaking forth blessings in my life and this book is putting me on the road to my natural birthright which is, supernatural favor!

I loved this book. I finished it, and immediately started it over again and reread it. I am still new to the Favor and Prosperity Gospel, but am learning more and more how much God loves us and wants to bless us. I already know I am going to reread it again. There is just so much needed and wonderful information...Read this book you will be truly blessed.

Favor

When I fail to remember that I am a powerful, chosen, and highly favored creation, Kynan brings me back on track and reminds me I am worthy and deserving of blessing. There is enough to go around to all His children, but we often fail to recognize this and miss out on all that could be ours. Thank you, Kynan, for reminding me that I am priceless.

Highly recommend

I began reading this book at the exact time I needed it. The truths within helped me learn why I was struggling in my natural and spiritual life. While reading this book, Holy Spirit had me experience life events that connected to what I was learning.

Hard to refute

Single person revelations difficult to say did not happen. I agree author had some kind of experience believable to him but I do not believe biblical heaven. Reading worth the time to understand mankind's desire to explain his eternal worth.

Life changing

I thank God for leading me to read this book - it contains the message that I need to hear at exactly this point in my life. All Christians - in fact, everyone - should read this book and grasp its message.

Good Book

I liked the book. He based the supernatural favor biblical based instead of making it more subjective. It was inspiring

A very good teaching book.

As a Christian there are so many things that from time to time need adjusting. This is a great going to always keep handy for those occasions.

Good message

Powerful and positive. I do believe that many believers do not walk in Gods Favor and this book is helpful to build people up.

This is an instructional book on why and how to receive God's Supernatural favor. Why we as Christians are not walking in this favor. It is a must read if you are not living in God's favor as taught in the bible.
