'Up there with Mitch Rapp, Pike Logan, and Jack Reacher'
U.S. Special Forces operative Zeb Carter didn't know about the Death Club when he stumbled across the dismembered body, left to desiccate in the Oregon high desert.
But the body wasn't his problem—for once, he could hand it over to the local sheriff and trust in his competence.
At least, it wouldn't have been Zeb's problem, if he hadn't found out who dead man was and what he meant to his teenage daughter.
Now he's asking questions—and the wrong people have noticed.
No, Zeb doesn't know about the Death Club.
But it knows about him.
It's already tracking him.

Good read for those who like action thrillers. There is a lot of stretching of the credulity, but it's done in a way that makes the book a fun read.
Although this is Book 9 in the series, it can be read as a stand alone. There is enough backstory (not over bearing) to allow the reader to understand the characters. For full enjoyment it's always best to start at the beginning of a series.
File this one under 'No Brainer' reads. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Wow ! Ty and Zeb have once again caused me to lose a lot sleep ! Detach Club is page turner that you just can't put down ! Each book is awesome and worth the read ! This one is action packed from start to finish and will leave you wanting more !
Another good read for fans of Mr. Patterson and those who like action thrillers. Although this may be part of a series, the story stands well on its own. We do have some backstory in order to situate us and understand the characters but it is neither over bearing nor boring.
The plot is good with plenty of action. When Zeb came across a body in the high desert of Oregon he called the authorities who took over the investigation. When he met the dead man’s daughter he couldn’t leave things to others and decided it was time to find those behind the killing…..At the time Zeb didn’t know of the Death Club and who was behind this illusive club…..he soon found out and things started to be exciting and we are plunged once again into one of those captivating story.
Action packed from start to finish this is a page turner. The plot is one of those easy and simple one to follow although there is a lot of stretching reality but put that aside and enjoy this nail biting adventure. I need to mention in this series we find the toughest men and women who have all the tools at their disposal. They always find themselves in unusual situations and they always offer the readers a hell of a ride….
Mike Klattenbach has gone to the Death Club, in the hope of winning money to help his daughter. He loses. His body is found in the desert by our hero, none other than Zeb Carter. When Carter finds out Klattenbach was to be awarded a Bronze Star, Carter could not stay away from the investigation. Russians, illegal Mexicans, flasks of a deadly virus and the fight club kept me up 'til the wee hours of the night.
The high desert in Oregon Zeb has been hiking for three days, when he spotted a bald eagle. Following he found a man’s body with a special tattoo on his arm, Special Forces. Small town would they follow up up on who this man was, and why murdered..Divorced, daughter age twelve, irregular support payments. Day after body found insurance paid half a million to the wife. This man was a hero to his daughter and he deserved more. Zeb would find the killer. Gripping story to the end
Before you even start to read the book you know that if it contains the name, Zeb Carter it will be a sum of action, nail biting adventure and intrigue. This book delivers all!
I enjoyed reading this book it has a good plot and plenty of action, I don't think it is as good as the previous 8 in the series but that won't stop me reading the next books that come along.
As always with The Warriors series, Ty Patterson holds us spellbound with the non-stop action, intrigue and suspense as Zeb Carter and his crew do battle with the most dastardly villians you can imagine. Fantastic reading.

What did I like? Gosh, what is there not to like? You have sexy men and hot girls that are fighting for America and the underdogs. The group led by Zeb cares about people and I for one love that about this series. From book one and all the shorts it has made it abundantly clear that this group stands together, backs each other and will put down anything in their path to get to the truth, no matter what it is. They will deal with it as it comes up. It is too bad that we don’t have a group like this, or do we and we just don’t know about it???? At least in this series they don’t want their name or association known. Maybe we do, I would like to think so, wouldn’t you?
What are you going to like? Every book from the beginning and all the way through are some of the toughest men and women fighting with unbelievable tools (or are they?) to help when they can. The research and descriptions, the unique characters, the unusual situations and the mystery and intrigue will capture you on page one to the very last page. Ty does a remarkable job, from the tiniest detail to the biggest items in the story line to make sure that you follow and understand what is happening every page. That is the first thing you will like but wait! There is more! The story line is the best part… Every character in his stories are so remarkable and memorable. Each of the group are so well trained and have the experience to back them as we have watched them grow with each new book or short. Zeb, of course, is my favorite but I can appreciate the rest of the group as well.
What will happen next? How much trouble can Zeb or the group for that matter get into? Well, on to the next book or short. Don’t forget there is more than just the Warrior series there is also the Gemini that only has one book to date but watch out because I am sure there is more in the works. I am sure glad that Ty is a great/fast writer…. I am not a good waiter… LOL Check out the USA Today Bestselling Warriors Series

A new Zeb Carter book? That's all I needed to get this one. Never a disappointment, Zeb and his team do the impossible. The man takes a vacation, needs to get a break from death and intrigue, only to find a body. The man hadn't died from natural causes and he hadn't died easily. Zeb should turn it over to the locals and move on. Not the Zeb we know and love.
The murder led him to much more, some of the people were dangerous, the others even more dangerous. Their fight club had few rules and those could be deadly—for the contestants and the audience. There was more to the club than fighting and Zeb was going to find out what. The men in charge didn't let anyone interfere with their business.
There isn't a dull moment or a dull page from page to the end. The team is there, each with their special skills, Bear, ever willing to take the bad guy out, not happy when Roger gets to do some blowing up, the twins and Werner (their super computer) and the rest of the gang, working with Zeb or watching his back with or without his permission and knowledge. They are a close team and genius smart, strong, a match for no one.
Will the team be able to complete this one? The enemy team seems to have unbelievable number and talent. Will they be a match for Zeb and his team? The action is vicious, the conflict more and more dangerous, the bad guys numberless. Is Zeb invincible? By the time you finish you will need something to calm you down too. Again, I'm just glad Zeb is on our side. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.
Zeb tries to take a vacation but evil never does....He finds a body in the desert, from that the suspense begins. The man did not die of natural causes, and the investigator in Zeb can't let it go. There is plenty of action with the talented Zeb letting his warrior side take over as he makes discoveries while investigating who killed the gentleman and who was he. The team that works with Zeb become involved, showing their talent at having the backs of their friends. This is a wonderful series, all members of the Warriors are great characters, you learn to love them all as they show a front of good against the criminal element. There is plenty of quick action and wonderful plots.I received an ARC of this book from the author which has enabled me to report my thoughts. If you love thrillers, you need to find this series, you will be very happy you did.
For any action suspense reader this series is a must read. Zeb Carter's life is never boring, Even when he's alone walking through the desert. No one could foresee where the dead body in the desert would lead us. Carter and his warriors take us on a fast paced, action filled engagement with the enemy. Ty Patterson's talented writing keeps us on the edge, turning the pages wanting to find out what happens next. Spending time with the Warriors is a great escape. Well worth your time to read. All I can say is I totally enjoyed this installment.
Another excellent book by Ty. It,s really amazing the way he melds high tech and Zeb,s zen into an incredible
reading experience. I am definitely addicted to this series, and waited impatiently after preordering this book. Anyone who likes reading Black-Op books should definitely have Ty on your must read list
The Death Club, fighters fighting to the death. An attack in a stadium with high school football players. A South Korean General, Jihad. Non stop action, suspense!!! What more can you ask for? Zeb Carter and his clandestine crew are once again called into action to perform the impossible! An epic Thriller!!
Another excellent novel by Ty Patterson...continuing his list of on-the-edge thrillers. Read it in one day and recommend Ty's books to any and all who like reality-based adventure. If you haven't read his earlier books, I'd suggest you start with Book 1 of the Warriors Series and read all nine of them. You won't be disappointed.
