Heartbreaking short stories showcasing the effects on South Africans of all shades of skin due to the unimaginably cruel apartheid regime. Strong characterizations and writing, packs an emotional punch.

There are A LOT of spelling errors / typos in this book which bothered me but, if you can overlook them then it's a fairly okay read. One or two of the short stories shocked and amused me and the book gives some insight into South Africa's past.
