I am a knight. To be precise, I am the Church of the God of Light’s Sun Knight.
The Church of the God of Light worships and serves the God of Light, and theirs is one of the three largest religions on this continent.
As the whole continent knows, the Church of the God of Light has the Twelve Holy Knights, and each one has his own unique personality and features.
To be the Sun Knight is to have shining golden hair, sky blue eyes, a compassionate nature, and a brilliant smile.
“The benevolent God of Light will forgive your sins.”
I must have said that line at least a million times in my time as the Sun Knight.
However, the greatest wish in my life is to be able to stand before the entire continent and roar, “Damn your ‘the whole continent knows’! This Sun Knight just doesn’t feel like smiling! I just don’t want to forgive these human trashes! I just want to pepper my sentences with ‘f***’!”
Unfortunately, even to this day, I continue to wear a smile as I say, “The benevolent God of Light will forgive your sins.”

Blaze and Leaf instantly rushed out of the room, while Earth gave a sigh, and idly said, “It’s one thing after another. The Demon King is coming, Sun is broken. This time it really is the end of the world!”

Um... What just happened? That ending... did i read it right? Oh... oh my god?

At this point, the main story and the main point of this whole novel starts. Judgment is hiding something from Grisia, and Grisia is willing to let it go and never find out about it. After almost losing him in the previous book, maybe some things are better left unsaid.

But again, some things are better left said - no matter what they are. This time the book focused on the issue of the Demon King, ruler of the Shadow God Church.

And one is about to be born in Leaf Bud City - city of the Twelve Holy Knights. And no one is particularly happy about that. Awaitsun came as a Silent Eagle of the Church of the Shadow God and he and other countries support the birth of the Demon King: because if the Demon king is not born, then the world will be destroyed by darkness (if he is born, then the world has 50/50 chance of survival, depending on the Demon King).

To choose a demon king, there are three candidates... And no one knows who they are (yet). But, if one thinks about it, it's pretty obvious who the first two candidates would be.

To become a demon king, the easiest way is to kill the other candidate and absorb their element.

And this time, we have 3 guides of the candidates, the immortal leaches, who want nothing more than ensure their "child" becomes the demon king!

As for the ending itself... I actually did not see that one coming! And the epilogue slayed me, because... just... I couldn't believe it.

Also, i love how his knights all tease Sun, like, I'm laughing so much hahaha. (Sun does not deserve Adair, his vice captain, honestly). Oh right, and Metal Knight's secret is well... actually good for Sun (oh my god, that whole part with his secret made me just... laugh/cry? Oh my god?)

There are also Stephen and Charlotte, new characters and shadowpriest and a knight from the Cathedral of the Shadow god, and Charlotte is very much a fun of Sun Knight .

This is the continuation of the effort of making a deeper story, which is welcome, yet a bit lacking as well in a sense. The last 2 volumes focus more on how normal Sun Knight can be and make human mistakes, etc. and it is refreshing to an extent, however the whole point of the Sun Knight is to be elegant and, in his case, ruthless and thorough in everything he does.

In this arc, he is just way more normal and that is a bit sad, considering how awesome he started out and how special he should have been. Now it is only that he involved too much in everything that makes him special and even his powers are not unique.

On the other hand, throughout this ordeal with the liches and the Demon King "tournament", the relationship among the Twelve Holy Knights has developed to a big extent that you really care about them and you see how they truly care about each other, even if everyone is busy with their own thing.

Only 2 volumes remaining and I'm still excited enough to read, but also kinda disappointed it's going the more normal route.

'In this world, could there be any miracle more inconceivable than us, the twelve holy Knights?'
'There have always been miracles; we are the miracles!'

So much plot twists. This book figuratively mindfucked me. It is a bit different than the previous installments. It packs much more story content. And it is also lavish with the humor.
