Lucy's life is almost perfect. All she needs to do is finish her senior year in high school and lose her virginity... to the right boy. Then she's off to the University of her choice, after which she will collect her trust fund. Her very (very) large trust fund. There's only one her grades and entrance exam scores are terrible. She assumed her mother would donate a sufficient amount of money and Lucy would go to the school of her choice. She was mistaken. As a result, instead of the nearby private school she had attended for the past three years, she will be attending an exclusive boarding school… In the middle of nowhere. Which is where we begin the new adult series, Castle.
Lucy Smith is attractive, funny, rude, kind and inconsiderate. She's also wise beyond her years, extremely bright and often clueless. She spent the first 17 years of her life protected, nurtured, coddled and loved. For the first time in her life, she will no longer be unique. Everyone at Castle is wealthy (at least their families are wealthy) and entitled. Everyone will still be wealthy but no one will be entitled.
Castle is genuine, poignant, funny and very erotic. Because of that realism, there is considerable sensuality and occasional graphic content. Consequently, it is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.
Please read the sample, you will know within a couple of pages if Castle is for you.
I liked the characters. You felt like you wanted to be friends with (most of) them. There are explicit parts in the book, but if you like to read that kind of genre, you'll love this book. (It's pretty hot and steamy!) It is well written and believable. I really liked this book.
