Time Web Tremors

Rate this book
Time is entangled in a very delicate web. A disruption on one string can cause tremors on another. Sometimes bad things can happen to innocent bystanders. It is definitely not to be disturbed by amateurs.

I don’t like not finishing books, but life is too short to struggle on with one when you are not getting any enjoyment from it. Having battled through the first 20% I find myself knowing very little about the plot, in fact all I have been able to ascertain is:
• There appears to be some form of time travel going on (but I sort of got that from the title any way
• There has been some form of apocalyptic event sometime in the future
• There is a sick man who people are trying to cure

What I haven’t found is any common thread tying any of these events together and the constant jumping around, new characters appearing out of nowhere was almost giving me a headache. Some of these issues may be resolved latter in the book but having read 20% of it I would have hoped to have uncovered more of the plot and have some idea of where the story was going.
The actual writing was quite good and I think there was a good story in there and maybe the style may suit other people, but with 100s of books on my tablet struggling through one that is not giving me any pleasure is not something I am prepare to do.
