In book 9 of the Rain Series, Isaac Walker's youngest son is tested beyond measure... but if he can stand the test, a great heavenly reward awaits. Black Lives Matter and Isaac Judah Walker Jr. comes face to face with that reality after two police shootings that take the lives of men who should never have been killed. Judah has created a wonderful life for himself in California, now he must decide if he can step back into his father's world in order to do God's will. But going back home to Ohio is complicated because Marissa Allen, the woman he loved and lost is there. All Marissa wanted was a do-right man. But the way Marissa saw it, the man couldn't possibly do-right if he didn't have God in his heart. She'd been forced to reject Judah's love and his promise of forever. But now that he's back home, Marissa is able to see him changing and following after God. If Marissa and Judah can get back the spark they once knew, they just might find love for a lifetime.

“Recommended for readers of redemption stories.” –Library Journal.
What an awesome and inspiring journey to have been on with Isaac and Nina. We got to know them, their friends and family along the way. The "Rain" series has been enjoyable to read and to see how God brought the Walkers full circle in their journey. We saw them struggle and fail but get back up and go forth with all that God had prepared for their family. We got to see each child grow into their own relationship with Christ and to see Keith & Cynda's story also. Some of my favorite scenes were the spiritual warfare one. Just to think that angels are doing battle for us when we call. WOW!!! But to end with the conclusion of "well done my good and faithful servant" as Nina & Isaac did. What more could you ask for in a series. :):):)
Very good series. There are some grammar error and the font even changes in this book but the story is good and emotional. I cried a couple times reading this last book. While everything is not relate able in the book the message hits home and really makes you look at your walk with Christ and people. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to do some self reflecting.
This series has always kept me wanting to read more about the Walker family. Book 9 does not disappoint. I have come full circle and although there are other books, one could read this as a standalone. Thank you Ms. Miller for such an awesome story in this day and time! Jesus still saves!
I'm not good at this but the first time I read your books my brother-in-law bought them for my sister when you had a book signing at Andrews AFB years ago. I have since bought the old and new and reread them on my kindle. I love all of your books but my favorite is the Rain Series.
Vanessa Miller does it again! This was an awesome story and very inspiring. The conversations between Isaac and the angel and Judah and God was something. I can't wait for the next one!
Ms. Miller has done it again, outstanding. Issac and Nina final mission is completed. I rejoiced and cried. This is a series everyone must read. I hope in the future to see the Walker continuing working to save souls. Again outstanding.
