Outlaw's Hope is a Full Length, Standalone MC Romance. No cliffhangers here, just happy endings!TommyI might be the newly made Vice President of Viper's Bite MC, but I'm getting out. The sooner the better. Just me, my bike, and the target on my back, riding off into the sunset. Because even a death sentence is preferable to the mess the new club President will get us into. Then she walks into the strip joint I run, looking for a job. Tara. A girl with a stripper's name, but the face of an angel.I want her. In the lying-under-me-and-moaning-my-name kind of way. That part I understand. It's the part about wanting to protect her from whatever she's running from and make sure no one ever hurts her again, that's new to me.She's looking at me like she wants the same thing. But she keeps pushing me away. Smart girl. I should leave her be. I have no room for passengers on the back of my bike.Though for her curvy body, I could make an exception.Outlaw's Hope is a standalone, full length MC biker romance novel, which contains steamy sex scenes, and deals with disturbing themes that may be uncomfortable for some readers. Intended for 18+ audiences.

I love hearing from my readers! Here's just some ways you can find me online...
Outlaw’s Hope was the first book of the Viper’s Bite MC series by Lena Bourne and Sophie Mann.
I liked the premise of the story and the dark, suspenseful plot. Tara’s sister was missing and her priority was finding her. She had a lead that brought her to the Viper’s Bite MC. Tommy was the Viper’s Bite MC VP. He was struggling with the direction of the club. The storyline was built on their developing relationship and eventually merged their two conflicts.
I enjoyed the storyline but struggled some with the characters and at times the plot seemed disjointed. Additionally, there were several editing errors.
With that said, I enjoyed the development of the storyline and the foundation for the series. I have no clue the direction the MC will take next but I’m definitely intrigued and looking forward to finding out. Next up is Brett in Outlaw’s Salvation.
This is the first book I've read from this author and I was truly excited to read it because I love a good MC read. However, this book did not work for me. Here's why. I couldn't connect with the characters and I absolutely disliked Shade. Shade was the president of Viper's Nest and he was the most selfish man EVER! He didn't want to do what was good for the MC, he wanted to do what was best for him. I liked that Tara was looking for her sister. However, I couldn't understand how she was a counselor at a women's shelter but she couldn't get over her own fears. I didn't understand how she could help other women when she wasn't in the "right" mind set. I just couldn't believe it. Yes, I'm sure what happened to her character should have left her with scars, but how can she help others when she couldn't help herself. There were a few other things in this story that seemed off for me but I can just say that this wasn't the story for me.
What starts out as a mission to find her sister, Sam, becomes so much more for Tara. Tara gets a lead on her sister's whereabouts from one of the women that at the Women's shelter she works at and takes off to a strip club in Arbor.
With a disguise in place she gets a job and hopes that someone here can lead her to her sister, what she doesn't count on is Tommy.
Tommy, is VP of Vipers Bite MC, is in charge of overseeing the club and girls there. Tommy's not sure about the new direction of the MC but he is sure as soon as he sees Tara, he wants to know more about her.
Tara's a bit of a mess, yet she's still trying to find and rescue her sister. She does a lot of waffling about Tommy in the beginning but that is explained as her past is revealed with each page. Tommy on the other hand is pretty straight forward - even though he's not looking for anything permanent, he is intrigued by Tara and also drawn to her in way he can't explain or understand.
The sparks that fly between the two are red hot and easily ignited. The sexual tension between the two is like a living thing any time they are near each other. Had my toe-curling scale hitting about 7.5!
Only draw back I found was that the ending felt a bit rushed and too neatly tied up. But over all a good read, not to heavy and not to light.
I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy.
Suspenseful MC…. I’m always game for a new MC romance and the blurbs for this series’ books teased with the promise of suspense and sexy tension (the best kind!). Tommy was the MC’s VP but he wanted out. Why that is makes for riveting story-telling as the secrets and intrigue around his biker family are anything but tame. And Tommy himself? He is gruff, harsh and has no time or inclination for any of the usual niceties. When Tara crosses his path, he is unexpectedly protective as he sees her differently than any other woman. “Don’t know what it is about her, but she makes me want to strut around like a peacock.” The story was told from alternating points of view so to hear his unfiltered inner thoughts added so much to that crusty outer persona. A good thing, because that persona was actually pretty jerk-ish. I know, I know, it’s an MC romance for heaven’s sake – what else would I expect for a tough biker? But it surprises each and every time when women are treated as less… Thankfully, Tommy redeems himself as he puts Tara’s troubles ahead of his own. If the problems plaguing Tommy are life-threatening than he had a lot more in common with Tara than either suspected. Tara’s story is complex so throwing that in with Tommy’s dilemma made for a powder keg of possibilities. “…I already figured out exactly what kind of guy he really is. The worst kind.” Be prepared to answers and a lot of questions as Tara and Tommy find common ground while the stories that surround them continue… There is more and I can’t wait!
3.5 Stars Book one in the Viper’s Bite MC is Tommy and Tara’s story. Tommy is the new VP of the MC club and despises the new President, his brother by blood! Tommy’s character is exactly as you’d expect from an MC member; a moody, broody hot as sin alpha male. He was born into the brotherhood and understands the commitment, but has some serious issues with the way the club is being run, so has made the decision to walk away, or rather ride away, even though that decision will probably end in his death. Then there’s Tara, a girl broken beyond repair by the abuse she suffered as a child. This couple on paper shouldn’t work, he is demanding and controlling and she hates to be controlled, but they just…work.
The storyline is rather dark and has some very disturbing twists and turns, but this is an outlaw MC club we’re talking about, so a lot of what you will read you’d expect; yes there is a HEA, and it is Tommy and Tara’s fairy tale ending, but it certainly isn’t a flowers and rainbows type of book.
This was the first book I had read from this author, and her writing style took some getting used to. The book is written in dual POV’s, which I like, my issue was with the fact the a lot of the sentences seemed to be incomplete, if that makes sense.
I will read the next book in the series, but if I am honest this book didn’t really excite me, hopefully Samantha and Brett’s story will win me over. #B2B Lesley
The writing is very unprofessional and the story boring. The writing quality is very basic with numerous problems. Here's a sentence copied and pasted directly from the book,
"I hardly go anywhere without wearing it on these days".
Firstly, that's not actually a real sentence, because a reader should be able to understand what the character is thinking about by reading a sentence, but here a reader would have zero idea what item of clothing or jewellery the character is thinking of wearing in this line, meaning it is an incomplete sentence and therefore incorrect.
There's also an extra word in the line that shouldn'tbe there, "on". Another line copied and pasted direct as writtenis, ""Most said they’d willing to help". Clearly the word "be" is missing after "theyd" , as it should say, "Most said they’d be willing to help".
It gets worse than these example, there are so many wrong words used, wrong tenses, many more missing words and extra words where they shouldn't be. There are punctuation problems and words are strung together so badly that the terrible grammar made this often unreadable and unpleasant for me to read through.
Ontop of all those problems, the heavy repetition is boring, the story is basic and lackluster, and characters that have no appeal. I'd give zero stars if I could. Was only able to read a small part of the way through before I gave up unfinished. Really not good.
Outlaw's Hope is the first book in the Viper's Bite MC series, and it is Tommy and Tara's story.
Tara is a social worker who has put her job on hold to try and locate her missing sister. Her search leads her to a strip club owned by the local MC. Her hope is to find someone who has seen her sister, Samantha who was abducted a year ago. The last thing she planned on was Tommy. Tommy is the VP of the Viper's Bite MC, and he manages the strip club. He is known for being a no strings attached type of guy, but that all changes the day he meets Tara. At first, he just wants her in his bed, but the more time he spends with her, the stronger his feelings for her grow. Tara brings out a side of him he never knew existed. Due to her horrific past, Tara does her best to keep Tommy at arm's length but her attempts prove futile. These two share a chemistry that neither one of them can deny.
If you are a fan of MC stories like me, you should definitely give this one a try, but be prepared, the story line is rather dark and filled with a lot of twists and turns. I am new to this author, but I really like her writing style. I was completely drawn into Tommy and Tara's word from the very start, so much so that I read the entire book in just one sitting! Yes, it is just that good! From hope and love to violence and betrayal, this book has it all!
Five Amazing Stars! Tara is a social worker and is on a mission to find her missing sister. Tara has an abusive past which was caused by her father someone who was supposed to protect her. While on her mission to find her sister she comes to a bar where the Outlaw Viper Motorcycle Club hangs out and she hopes to find her sister there. What she never thought she would find there was Tommy. Tommy is Vice President of Viper Bite MC and he has a different vision for his Club then the rest of the members. When Tommy and Tara meet they have chemistry and Tommy starts to heal Tara's broken soul. Will Tommy be able to help Tara find her sister? I thoroughly enjoyed this story and was hooked from the first chapter. I found that the characters had great chemistry and truly I came to feel for Tara and all the things that she went through. The author wrote a beautiful story that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole story. This is the first book in the Viper Bite MC Series and I can't wait for the second book! I highly recommend this book!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. This book was read and reviewed by Annamaria for Alpha Book Club.
We start this book meeting a woman named Tara. She's looking for a person named Samantha. Who is Samantha? Why is Tara looking for her? Who is Tanya and what does she tell Tara about the Viper's Bite MC? Who is Tommy? What is his position in the MC? Who are Crystal, Sophie, and Ava? I find myself really liking Ava. What we find out about Tara's past is heart wrenching. But seeing how Tommy treats her, especially after she opens up to him after making him angry with her hot and cold personality for things was something that made me smile. Will Tara ever find Samantha? When Tara opens up to Tommy about Samantha, what happens? When Gwen shows back up at Crystal's place, and starts 'talking' about Tara, what does Simone decide to do? What happens? What does this cause Tommy to do? Read and find out!

An explosive read - I couldn't resist , and after you read Tommy and Tara's story I am pretty sure you will agree . Likes: I liked the subtle yet inevitable build of their relationship I enjoyed the supporting characters and the way their history's were intertwined Even though it was an MC romance it played more towards the character's than the club, the club plays as a catalyst for the situations ,but did not take from the story Dislikes : I would have liked more background on Thomas family , and his history I also would like to have known the how's regarding Tara's sister ,though because this is a series I am hoping it will be revealed in a future book. I felt the same about a couple other characters , but I am probably just being greedy and want all the answers now
I enjoyed the story and writing as well as the underlying issue of abuse of women/females. The hero was raised in by his mother until she was killed in front of him. She had raised her son to be good to women since men were not good to her and took away her rights. Tara grew up in a horribly abusive home with her younger sister so horrible when it should have been a safe place. For those two to connect and the way Tommy was good to her was very reasonable considering what he had gone through, throughout his left. As much as I enjoyed the read, there was something that did not connect with the characters. If there was half stars I would give it a 3 1/2 since it entertained, writing was good, it was consistent, and the synopsis was accurate. Sunday afternoon read at the beach reading
This was a bonus book included with Cr0ss: Devil's Nightmare MC that I one clicked using my KU. I really enjoyed this book. I loved Tommy's character and his desire to help the abused women he came upon in his life as the brother of the current club president, who is evil beyond words. Tara is a victim of child sexual abuse and is searching for her sister who disappeared a year ago. That sets the stage for Tara to show up at the strip club Tommy runs for the club. He is the class man-ho and hits on Tara. Then he backs off and actually develops a friendship. He patiently works her through her fear of any sexual contact and in the end he's willing to give up the MC to keep Tara safe. I will definitely read the next book in this series.
Tara is searching for her sister Samantha whom she suspects has been forced into a prostitution ring. Tommy is with Viper's Den, an MC that Samantha was apparently last seen with. Tommy's such a good guy, not promising girls anything beyond the present moment, but making sure he's not a complete jerk to them. When he meets Tara, something clicks, and they're drawn to each other in an unexpected turn of events. Good action, sizzling chemistry, and a good HEA.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
What a story, this book is so different to other MC books I have read. I was gripped by story from page one. I love Tommy, he actually cares about the women and still hard. He is not a typical biker. He is still very alpha but he is not very overbearing and he is understanding. I love Tara, she may have gone into this world for wrong reasons with hunting for her sister but she is still light even though she has loads of problems. I loved how this author dealt with the issues what arise in this book. I cannot wait for more. WTMO
The Good Bad Boy: This was one of those books that once you start reading there's no putting it down until the end. Your emotions will run from one end of the scale to the other. This book has it all, hope, love, family, loyalty, betrayal, violence, and hot sex. Tara and Tommy's stories draw you in with their dark and tragic pasts, but alias fear not, with their chemistry they do find their HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This book was an introduction to Lena Bourne writting and I can't wait to read more. I love MC books and this series is now in my TBR list. There are a lot of typical MC issues in this book but there is so much more. This book grabbed me at the first chapter and did not let go until the end. This book is a dark, suspenseful, sexy, romance that will have you on the edge of you seat. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. I Highly Recommend this book.
Tara is searching for her sisteted who has disappeared. While working at the shelters inquiring about her sister, one of the girls suggested that she check out the Crystal Lounge. Upon arriving there, she is hired as a bar maid. Tommy is VP of the Vipers Bite MC. Since his brother Bade was murdered, Slade has taken over as Prez. Tommy is not agreeing with his new methods of corruption. Tommy also owns the Crystal Lounge. End in a cliffhanger. Can't wait to read next book.
Good MC book! Tara is a counselor. She is looking for her sister that disappeared, on her search she ends up at a bar. Tommy is the MC Vice President. Tara fights through dark thoughts and fears to be with Tommy. Tommy has had some life changing experiences also. What happens when things heat up between them? Can they make a relationship work? Outlaws Hope (A Viper's Bite MC Novel Book 1) OMG!
This is the first book of Lena Bourne's that I habe read but Book 2 in the series is waiting for me. This is Tommy and Tara's story. It is a dark and twisted story. You will be kept on the edge of your seat as their story unfolds. The sexy bits will keep you up reading late into the night. Thank you Lena for sharing your alpha bikers and their kickass ladies with us.
3.5 stars I somewhat liked Tommy as a character, he was badass but also had a empathetic/caring side. I had real issues with Lola and his interaction with her, he didn't delve to deep into her age because he got something he wanted. At time Tommy was a walking contradiction. Tara was just a mess and it wanted me to protect her. As with most MC books there are possible triggers everywhere.

I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
Wow! Such an intense romance. The characters are so realistic. The plot was VERY well developed. It is very gripping story. Not your typical fluff romance. It was very deep with an extreme subject that was dealt expertly with.
This was a great book and I highly recommend this book to anyone.
Tommy is VP of the Vipers Bite but it is not running how he wants it. shade the Pres is ruining the club for his gains. Tara comes to town looking for her missing sister. They both come from a very shady and sad past. It's a journey of finding yourself and both of them making their lives better whilst on the hunt for her sister.
This is a good start to this series. Dark and intense, this book includes subject matter that can be too intense and disturbing and be triggers for others. I really liked Tommy and Tara together. Their chemistry was very good and I could feel the emotional connection between them. A very good read and a promising start to this series.
3* Tara sister is missing after asking questions she has a lead but can she follow it? Tommy is part of the mc club his grandfather started but isn’t happy with how it’s run since the stabbing of his other brother. There two worlds collide when she takes a job at one of there clubs. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Nice book.
This is the first book in a new series, and is Tommy and Tara’s story. Tommy is the VP of the Vipers, and he runs the strip club. Tara is looking for her missing sister, and ends up following a lead and working at the club. This is a well written story which is filled with suspense and intrigue. I look forward to reading the next book in this amazing series.
