He’s God’s deadliest weapon. His firstborn son. And still he failed.

Blessed with the ultimate power of Heaven, Michael shouldn’t have to be rescued by his brothers. It’s a reality that gnaws at his very soul. To make matters worse, they weren’t the only ones to witness his defeat. But surely fate wouldn’t be so cruel as to introduce him to his intended mate on the day of his greatest failure, would it?

Greyson, Prince of the Fae, knew the instant he met Michael that the archangel was his true soulmate. And yet, months later, Grey’s still waiting for the man to acknowledge the truth, to quiet the unrelenting need that burns beneath Grey’s flesh. But how can he convince a warrior that love and duty don’t have to be exclusive?

Left with few options, Grey asks Michael to give him one night. No expectations. No promises. Just the two of them. Together. A moment Grey knows will have to last a lifetime—until Grey’s life is threatened.

Michael might not be ready to acknowledge Greyson is his mate, but he’ll be damned if he fails the only man he’ll ever love. He won’t let Greyson down, even if it means his only course of action is a fall from grace.

About the author

Kris Norris

Kris sees herself as somewhat obsessive and feels she tends to push the boundaries of common sense sometimes. Her friends graciously see her as passionate and adventurous. After all, speed limits are only a guideline and shouting is just her way of rising above the chaos. Kris loves the outdoors. If she's not on her computer— or chasing after her three kids— she's out on a trail somewhere, either running with her dog or riding her mountain bike. Kris took up adventure racing a few years ago, and tries to enter one or two races every year. Kris started writing some years back, and it took her a while to realize she wasn’t destined for the padded room, and the voices chattering away in her head were really other characters trying to take shape. (And since they weren’t telling her to conquer the human race, she went with it.) Kris loves writing erotic novels. She loves heroines who kick butt, heroes who are larger than life, and sizzling sex scenes that make you squirm in your seat, and leave you feeling just a bit breathless.

I picked this up on the cruise, so it was hilarious trying to keep children from reading over my shoulder! That being said, like in Gabriel, the relationship between Michael and Greyson didn't take over the book and I felt it progressed very naturally. We catch a glimpse of their feelings in Gabriel and I like that Norris has expanded on their chemistry in this book. I really liked Greyson in the first book so I really enjoyed reading more about his character and the Fae world in general. The little interactions with Gabriel and Kei were a nice added bonus. It looks like we are getting Lucifer in the next story, which is always a barrel of laughs.
