A very technical book, not so fun to read but full of information about Catholicism.
If you want to know about the Catholicism then this book has all the information you need.

For me, this book receives 2.5 stars.

I read it for my “introduction to the study of theology” course at KU Leuven, and I just didn’t find it a great book.

It’s not extremely introductory, but moreso, it was just not an enjoyable read. As a Protestant reading it, It does seem very catholic (obviously), which also plays into my opinion of course. Overall, if I wasn’t assigned the book for my course, I would have ditched fit after two chapters most likely.

Definitely not an introductory book. It’s incredibly dense and can easily put you to sleep.

It is not a doctrine book, but a book more concerned about the practical conceptions. For me, it is a little boring.
