Rate this book
Enjoy books five through eight in the delightful Cupid's Coffeeshop series.

Cupid's Coffeeshop serves love, laughter, and happily ever after.

Join us in the quaint and charming town of Ashford Falls, nestled in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains for the heartwarming Cupid’s Coffeeshop series, featuring an entire year of couples finding their happily-ever-afters, filled to the brim with warmth, humor, and a dash of the unexpected.

Patrick, Joe, and Zooey Lockhart inherit their grandmother's coffeeshop--with the caveat that they have one year to make it profitable. If they don't, they lose everything--including each other.

The second boxed set in the Cupid's Coffeeshop series contains four heartwarming romance novellas.

Book Cafe Au Lait

When the owner hires a business consultant for the struggling Ashford Falls Cafe, artisan chef Kennedy Roberts is offended at suggestions to reduce the cost—and quality—of her ingredients.

When she discovers the consultant is none other than Alex Wells, her childhood best friend’s pesky little brother, she’s even more furious.

But now Alex is all grown up and will stop at nothing to steal Kennedy’s heart in May’s Cafe au Lait.

Book Berries and Cream Chai

When Joe Lockhart goes on the hunt for the perfect seasonal berries for his new signature drink, he finds them at Berry Hill Farm owned by the alluring Molly McCarthy. Can he charm her with his playboy ways?

Molly's desperate to save her farm by turning into a pick-your-own place filled with wholesome family fun. To attract customers to her struggling farm, Joe brings his “Cupid’s Cup of Joe” coffee truck—along with his viral fame as the coffee hunk—around on the weekends.

And suddenly, Molly’s got much more than she can handle—including the coffee hunk who just may steal her heart.

Book Fireworks Frappe

Growing up, Ava Lane swore she’d never come back to the tiny town of Ashford Falls or the man who shattered her heart, firefighter Duncan Knight.

Unfortunately, after losing her high-powered job on Wall Street, Ava doesn’t have anywhere else to go.

As she struggles to figure out her comeback plan, can she escape without being singed by love in July’s Fireworks Frappe?

Book Coconut Iced Coffee

August brings Zooey Lockhart's 21stst birthday and she's longing to get out of Ashford Falls for a beach vacation. For her birthday gift, Patrick and Joe agree to work the coffeeshop while she goes to the beach to make her birthday dreams come true.

When she meets Charlie Lyons at an island resort, he’s the perfect choice for a quick, no-strings-attached summer fling.

When Zooey returns to Ashford Falls, Charlie is the newest associate attorney at the biggest law firm in town. And Zooey will have to figure out if her summer fling will turn out to be more like love.

I have read all these 4 books in this book pack and here is my voluntary and honest review of each one.
Cafe Au Lait (Cupid's Coffeeshop Book 5)
Another great novella in the “Cupidcoffee Shop Series” that is a bit spicier than other last 4. This is a friend to lover story about Kennedy having an 8-year crush on her childhood best friend’s younger brother Alex. Is the crush one-sided? Kennedy runs into her friend Harper one night at the Coffeeshop while she is helping Joe and Patrick with this month’s cross-promotion coffee drinks special "Cafe Au Lait ". She is total surprised to see Alex Wells in the Coffee shop with his sister as he has just graduated and on his way to Wall Street.

Berries and Cream Chai (Cupid's Coffeeshop Book 6)
I just love this series and I am so happy to get to read Joes Lockhart’s story. Joe is a wanderer and a love them & leaves them kind of guy, who is not happy with his Grandmother making him stay in Ashford Falls. He could do without the inheritance but his love for both his cousins stops him from leaving so he won't be the cause of them not getting their share of the Coffeeshop inheritance at the end of the year. Ashford Falls is the last place he wants to be and after only 9 months back it’s feeling like a lifetime until he goes looking for berries at a local farm for this month's special drink “Berries and Cream Chai.

Fireworks Frappe
Ava Lane dreamed of leaving Ashford Falls all through her childhood and she never planned to return to her little hometown or the boy that broke her heart when he didn’t leave with her. But her twin sister Amy is getting married to Ben (from book 1) and Ave is returning 1 years later, at a time of her life when she has decided to make about her future in New York City.

Coconut Iced Coffee
It’s August and the heat is rising and the profits are falling at the Cupid Coffeeshop in Ashford Falls. It is a week out from Zooey Lockhart's 21stand she is sitting in an empty coffee shop waiting and hoping for a miracle to meet the terms of their Grandmothers will. Zooey’s dream is to become an Illustrator so the money she will get from her Grandmother will, will be a great help in her future dreams. He brother Patrice and course Joe give Zooey an early birthday gift a trip to Turtle Bay in the Caribbean.

Courtney Hunt has been around for a while but I did not discover her books until the Bridesmaid Series. I wish I had known of her sooner as I enjoy her easy style of storytelling. Now I am going back to catch up with her earlier works. The Cupid's Coffeeshop Series was written before the Bridesmaid Series. There are twelve romance novellas that center around the coffeeshop in a small town. Each couple’s story is complete within the novella, though they may make a supporting appearance in other stories.
Now you are able to purchase these stories in sets which is wonderful. Cupid's Coffeeshop Set Two: Boxed Set: Books 5-8 has four stories that do are fun to read, never boring with a unique plot for that couple, titled after the coffee flavor of the month. What a cool idea. Even better is each couple being realistic with a well-written, interesting story-line full of humor and love. Each story is seven to nine chapters long so they are the perfect coffee break/lunch read.
Cafe Au Lait (May) has chef, Kennedy and financial advisor Alex as school friends who through an Ashford Falls restaurant get reacquainted.
Berries and Cream Chai (June) has Joe in Ashford Falls under duress as one of the three grandchildren who must help run the coffeeshop for a year. Needing berries for his signature drink, he finds so much more.
Fireworks Frappe (July) has returning home Ava finding she still has feelings for her ex-boyfriend firefighter, Duncan.
Coconut Iced Coffee (August) has Zooey, Joe’s cousin and shop partner, is given a birthday trip to a Caribbean beach where she finds more than sand for a mason jar.
The publisher/author gave me a complimentary ARC of the book.

I started with Cupid’s Coffeeshop Set Two, so I need to go back and read Set One, but this wasn’t a problem. I wasn’t lost because each book tells the back story so you are not lost. The short stories are well written, the characters are developed, and you can read each story in a short sitting. I like that the series follows the owner’s of Cupid’s Coffee Shop through the year they have to make a profit. The couple’s stories that fall in love are an added bonus. Each story is a very quick read that leaves you wanting more; which made me glad that I had the sets. I was able to read to read Sets Two and Three in less than a day total. I love the story-lines and the characters. After each book I wanted to visit Ashford Falls and Cupid’s Coffee Shop more. I would love to have the recipes for each of the Flavor of the Month. I most definitely would recommend these books. There is some s-e-x involved along with humor and lots of happily-ever-afters. Each couple has their own obstacles to overcome with the help of Cupid’s Coffee Shop magic. I did receive an ARC of this set but voluntarily read and gave my honest and fair review.

I did not read the first box set, so was not familiar with the peripheral characters, but was still able to get the gist of the series. Three cousins are in the position to inherit from their grandmother, but first they have to make her cafe Cupid's Coffeeshop profitable within a year. Apparently, in the first box set, four romances were started in the cafe. I normally do not like reading short stories, becasue if I like the story and the characters- then it is too short, but in this formate, we continue to see the characters that we are already engaged with.

This set consists of four more stories with four more couples finding their mate. This is a delightful series. Now four more couples have found their "one", including Joe and Zooey, two of the cousins. I am off to start the next box set. I read a free review copy of the book.

I received a free copy of this boxed set and the four stories all with a HEA ending were inspired by the patrons and the co-owners of Cupid's Coffee Shop and are the next four months in the challenge of running the coffee shop as a viable business. A follow on from set 1. The circle of friends, of which Joy is a part of, by the end of book five are all in happy relationships. That, leaves a story or two where the co-owners and their stories of HEA are introduced and that happens at the right time. Each are sweet, instant and quick attraction with heat and humour. They meet the objective which is feel good light reading for those days when you just want a quick read. I was delighted that both Joe and Zooey found love too as the coffee shop should be as good for its co-owners as it is for its patrons.

Asking for more

It didn't take me long to read the 2nd box.I'd really like when Joe and Molly story. Seeing his struggle over his feelings for Molly were a lot more than just a hook up. Ava and Duncan not knowing how to act with one another their feelings for each other still strong after 10 yrs and Ava discovering that she was ready to come home and having a 2nd chance for happiness. Loved the other 2 stories. Now for the last 4.

This is the second set of a series I started a month or so ago. I really like how each book is a new month with a new love interest but that you still have characters from previous books show up. All very sweet stories about the residents of small town Ashford Falls finding love. I'll definitely be reading the final set to see how it all ends.

Well I was excited to have books 5-8 all in one set. Not having to stop and go was great. They were great quick reads. I loved reading about how the little shop keeps bringing all these people together, even when it seems impossible. Can I say I feel like it's my coffee shop? Well it's a great read! Enjoy!

I read and reviewed an ARC

Light and frothy with just enough sugar and spice to make it interesting. Each book is a quick read, but when put together in a box set, they seem like a good altogether size. I don't know that I'd appreciate reading them all individually though. I like how the author has woven the stories together... reminds me of reading some of Maeve Binchy's stories. I'd love for the recipes for the monthly drink specials to be included!

Very cute, entertaining romance novellas

The author does a nice job developing the various characters and situations. The tie-in with the various coffees each month is also entertaining. A good, light, quick read for someone who enjoys light romances.
