This is book 5 of the Eternal Flames series, It's a series that need to be read in order. Finn has learned from his mistakes and is determined to make sure his mate knows he is wanted, but what is he to do with not one but two mates?

A Higher Calling is fifth in Maggie Walsh and Cree Storm’s Eternal Flame stories. Finn has his brother and his mate back. He has been blessed with a second chance but actually mating seems to be a bit difficult. I enjoyed seeing Finn try to find time just to talk with his mates, but secrets have a way of coming uncovered and Twix’s secret brings additional danger.

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Finn find happiness with Twix and Marco. While they easily accepted they were mates trusting in that mating took a bit of time , I enjoyed seeing Finn relax, at least as much as he was able. I enjoyed seeing Marco accept his past and love seeing Twix find joy.

This addition to Ms. Storm and Ms. Walsh Eternal Flame’s series was a relaxing read. It’s focus on building the community which I appreciated. Danger is coming but we received a brief respite even as a new mating is celebrated. I enjoyed the break and look forward to more.

Just when you think you know all of the players in this series, the author throws us a curve.

As you enjoy the beautiful mating of Marco and Finn, you become just as surprised as Marco and Finn with what happens.

The Dragons and Pheonixes have to get together to protect Twix and his family and shifter kind against an old foe.

Exciting story that has a little of everything in it. Not overpowering, but enough to keep you wanting more.

Exciting new direction for this series

I love where this book pivoted the story for this series. This really made the whole situation going on in Crystal so much more important to everyone, and it shows that Levi was planning things much more long term than anyone had ever guessed.

Oh holy hotness!!

I love this series!! Absolutely head over heals in love. This is Twix, Finn, and Marco's story. And let me tell you oh my chickens what a story. In this book we finally find out what Twix really is are you ready to no? Well he's a ha ha ha you thought I was gonna tell you. Not gonna happen but he is something so freaking cool. But when he's mates find out will they reject him? Will they be able to keep their little mate safe? When the whole evil world come after him. Omg I can't really go into to the story without giving away the plot but let me tell you I loved this book. I love this series. With this new twist in the story line it opens a whole new world. I can't wait for the next book.

Was super excited to realize this book was out. Just finished first 4 and did not realize this one was out. I love this series. It is well written with awesome characters. The only thing I wish that was different was that they stories did not jump a few months. The first few pretty much followed back to back but these last few have had a couple of months were we miss what happens and then we take up after some excitement has happened. Otherwise they are awesome.
