The book is very thorough, and gives detailed information on almost every major star and celestial body in all 88 constellations. It tells the myths and the historical significance of different stars and constellations. It has black pages with white letters which makes it very good to read in the dark and keep your eyes in shape to see dimmer stars while stargazing. It's current and up-to-date. I greatly recommend this book to anyone interested in the stars.

We used this book as the guestbook for my wedding. It is amazing! Not only is it comprehensive and interesting, but the photography is absolutely breathtaking.

My toddler loves picking this up, finding pictures of the stars and planets and having me read random pages to him. We’ve covered a lot of this book and every page is a new adventure for us.

Brilliant illustrations, outstanding indeed. The little descriptions, though brief are precise and necessary. Not much more to say about it.
