Impressive collab! Aria was that chick-a true boss, rude tude & all! She met her match with Troix-he was the man! I can say Kandi & Keaton were protective of their bosses. Fast paced storyline with great romantic scenes. Continuous turn of events revealed many surprises. Carmella is not playing! Ready to read next part!

This books is an urban version of Mr. & Mr. Smith, two people hired to kill each other but catch feelings. Now they both have a price on their head. Most of the book is the characters playing cat and mouse with each other. The only problem I had with the book was the language, I'm definitely no prude but no man with two degrees says "nigga" almost after every word. I just felt like the writers set out to make the characters extra hood it was actually distracting. I really enjoyed the authors previous series Nothing Even Matters which was also an urban drama but the characters dialogue wasn't this ghetto. Honestly you can't be a Boss and talk like you have an 8th grade education. Hopefully both authors tone it down in book 2.

I'll admit the beginning did start off a bit slow. But if you've read any of thier previous works they both easily smack you in the face with the unexpected twists and drama. This collab was on point and the stroyline flip so effortlessly that I had to make sure I read it correctly. Just the shock that comes from these characters is unbelievable. Everybody has a price on their head, but when the secrets start to spill and the heart does a 360 things get real. Troix is sexy, rich and cocky, but all that cockiness is test when he runs across Aria. She's not your average and what flies out her mouth lets you know she not here for the BS. The ending was crazy, I'm mean the chick clearly couldn't take NO for an answer and it resulted to that, Ugh!!! I'll be waiting for part with a flashlight...A war is about to occur and I'm here for it.

Caught with their drawers down!!!

WTH... The cliffhanger ending just messes me up every time. Troix and Aria were both contract killers hired to kill one another. In the end he makes her an offer she can't refuse. But somehow another one of his enemies surprises them both. ***** Cliffhanger!!!!!!!

Wait, what? Why?

This book was fast paced and intense. The main characters were very believable. I was so into it that I was shocked it was over. Can't wait for the follow-up because this one had me on the edge of my seat wondering who was gonna get it next. The twist was unexpected also. Great read!

So you can't help who you fall in love with. Aria tickled me trying to be hard. She instantly fell for Troix as he did her. This book kind of reminded me of brad and Angelina relationship. Two boss ppl smh and lol. But Jesus what did Kandi just do??. Omg.
