Although she writes under the pen name J.K. Rowling, pronounced like rolling, her name when her first Harry Potter book was published was simply Joanne Rowling. Anticipating that the target audience of young boys might not want to read a book written by a woman, her publishers demanded that she use two initials, rather than her full name. As she had no middle name, she chose K as the second initial of her pen name, from her paternal grandmother Kathleen Ada Bulgen Rowling. She calls herself Jo and has said, "No one ever called me 'Joanne' when I was young, unless they were angry." Following her marriage, she has sometimes used the name Joanne Murray when conducting personal business. During the Leveson Inquiry she gave evidence under the name of Joanne Kathleen Rowling. In a 2012 interview, Rowling noted that she no longer cared that people pronounced her name incorrectly.
Rowling was born to Peter James Rowling, a Rolls-Royce aircraft engineer, and Anne Rowling (née Volant), on 31 July 1965 in Yate, Gloucestershire, England, 10 miles (16 km) northeast of Bristol. Her mother Anne was half-French and half-Scottish. Her parents first met on a train departing from King's Cross Station bound for Arbroath in 1964. They married on 14 March 1965. Her mother's maternal grandfather, Dugald Campbell, was born in Lamlash on the Isle of Arran. Her mother's paternal grandfather, Louis Volant, was awarded the Croix de Guerre for exceptional bravery in defending the village of Courcelles-le-Comte during the First World War.
Rowling's sister Dianne was born at their home when Rowling was 23 months old. The family moved to the nearby village Winterbourne when Rowling was four. She attended St Michael's Primary School, a school founded by abolitionist William Wilberforce and education reformer Hannah More. Her headmaster at St Michael's, Alfred Dunn, has been suggested as the inspiration for the Harry Potter headmaster Albus Dumbledore.
As a child, Rowling often wrote fantasy stories, which she would usually then read to her sister. She recalls that: "I can still remember me telling her a story in which she fell down a rabbit hole and was fed strawberries by the rabbit family inside it. Certainly the first story I ever wrote down (when I was five or six) was about a rabbit called Rabbit. He got the measles and was visited by his friends, including a giant bee called Miss Bee." At the age of nine, Rowling moved to Church Cottage in the Gloucestershire village of Tutshill, close to Chepstow, Wales. When she was a young teenager, her great aunt, who Rowling said "taught classics and approved of a thirst for knowledge, even of a questionable kind," gave her a very old copy of Jessica Mitford's autobiography, Hons and Rebels. Mitford became Rowling's heroine, and Rowling subsequently read all of her books.
Rowling has said of her teenage years, in an interview with The New Yorker, "I wasn’t particularly happy. I think it’s a dreadful time of life." She had a difficult homelife; her mother was ill and she had a difficult relationship with her father (she is no longer on speaking terms with him). She attended secondary school at Wyedean School and College, where her mother had worked as a technician in the science department. Rowling said of her adolescence, "Hermione [a bookish, know-it-all Harry Potter character] is loosely based on me. She's a caricature of me when I was eleven, which I'm not particularly proud of." Steve Eddy, who taught Rowling English when she first arrived, remembers her as "not exceptional" but "one of a group of girls who were bright, and quite good at English." Sean Harris, her best friend in the Upper Sixth owned a turquoise Ford Anglia, which she says inspired the one in her books.

نسبت به زندانی آزکابان خیلی بهتر و روانتر بود و با وجودی که دوجلدی هم بود ولی خیلی کمتر حوصله ی آدم را سر می برد.ولی باز هم با بعضی چیزهایش مشکل داشتم مثلا با مرگخوار بودن کراب و گویل!با توجه به اینکه نوقع سقوط ولدمورت نهایتا یکی دوساله بودند!و لزوم وجود بعضی شخصیتها را هم درک نمی کردم.
جلد یک به مراتب برایم جذابتر بود.

سوالی که درفصل خون،گوشک و استخوان برایم پیش آمد این بود که با توجه به آسانی نسبی معجونی که برای برگشتن ولدمورت درست شد،تا آن موقع چرا این کار به ذهنش نرسیده بود؟یعنی آمدن به محل دفن پدرش،پیداکردن یک خادم وفادار و اندکی خون یک دشمن سیزده سال وقت لازم داشته؟!
یا این که اگر انداختن اسم توی جام آتش از طریق یک بزرگسال و با اسم یک مدرسه ی دیگر اینقدر کار ساده ای بوده خب فرد و جرج هم می توانستند از یک سال بالایی درخواست کنند این کار را برایشان انجام بدهد.

٦ تا ستاره. ٥ تا مال زنداني آزكابان ه. :))
اول ش كه شروع كردم اين جلد رو، اصلا برام جذاب نبود. اما يه كم كه پيش رفت خيلي جالب شد و از يك جايي به بعد ديوونه شدم قشنگ! :))
عاشق مودي شده بودم بعد اواخر كتاب كه داشت توضيح مي داد همه چيز رو، زار زار گريه مي كردم كه چشم باباقوري نازنين تو ديگه چرا؟ :)))
بعد اين كه من رو سدريك كراش داشتم خوووب! چراااا آخه..؟ T_T
اين مالفوي و دار و دسته ش رو چرا اخراج نمي كنن؟ اسكيتر رو چرا دار نمي زنن؟ فاج چرا اين قدر عقب افتاده س آخه؟
جايزه ي نچسب ترين كاراكتر اين جلد هم مي رسه به خانم ماكسيم.

پایان جلد اول :)
حس میکنم به خاطر جرئیات خیلی بیشتری که توی کتاب هست، داره فیلم و کتاب یکم تفاوت پیدا میکنه. ولی بازم فیلم در حد خیلی خوب و قابل قبوله :)

واقعا بي نظير بود. خيلي دلهره آور و تاثير گذار. بايد دست نويسندرو بوسيد. با اينكه كتاب يك داستانه، ولي تاثير عميقي بجا مي ذاره. البته ناگفته نماند با خوندنش حس عجيبي شمارو ميگيره كه دوست داريد توي دنياي هري باشيد و اونجا زندگي كنيد.

چرا توی فیلم، برای مرحلهی دوم باید نویل لانگ باتم به هری گیاه آبششزا بده در حالی که توی کتاب دابی بهش کمک کرده؟؟؟؟

از اون دسته آثاريه ك هم فيلماشو ديدم هم كتاب رو و ميتونم مقايسه كنم . هري پاتر سري فيلماش قشنگن كه هيچ ، ولي ميشه گفت كتاباش حتي بهتر هم هستن.
ترجمه هاش هم واقعا خوبن . و واقعا كاش هر نوجووني يا اصلا جووني بخوانه اين مجموعه ي عالي رو .

چندسال پیش که این کتاب رو خوندم این تغییر اسامی و فارسی کردن طلسم ها انقدر تو مخم نرفت که الان رفته ولی خب کتابهای هری پاتر همیشه امتیاز کامل از من میگیرن

What can I say! Read the books with my girls over 15 years ago and had such great fun...I thought it might be worth a reread but i was daunted by the sheer number of pages with so much new to read. So i'm listening to the series with Jim Dale as the reader and man is it awesome!! He makes the books come alive. Plus being on the finished side once, i'm noticing clues that i missed before in my desire to see what happens next. Such Fun!!

جلد اول رو امروز تموم کردم تا اینجا وقایع کتاب هم در کلیات هم در جزئیات تفاوتهای زیادی داشت و کتاب خیلی کاملتر و جامعتره.

****I’ve been reading Harry Potter in different languages because I’m very familiar with the series and love to learn! What can I say, I’m a multilingual queen.
As for translations, this seemed very well done!
Harry Potter is a great thing to choose when wanting to learn different languages since there are so many options! What fun!
Low rating though because the time turner plot was ridiculous. ****

The time turner plot reminded me of a dream I had where I met a someone who flagged a review I made on an app about a book because it didn’t like what I had to say. See, I’d wanted to use that review to mark something else I read so it would count toward a specific goal I had on the app. Anyways, when I went back in time, the app person told me I couldn’t do that 😔 so in order to fix the problem, I used a time turner to go back and undo my mistake! Because if there is anyone in this world I want to protect, it’s a super rich, Zionist, transphobe, JK Rowling 😌😌
It was so funny because, in my dream, once I used the time turner (because this goodreads book which I DID read reminded me of the dream), I met a hippogriff and it told me to read a fic called “The Wrong Choice” by BlueZeldana. Even though the hippogriff in my dream was nice, I told him that the Veela fic he recommended was meh. Then I came pack to the present and wrote this review for this also meh book I read.
Gotta love languages! 😀

در اين داستان كه در دو جلد به طبع رسيده است، نشانههاي جادوگري "ولدمورت" در آسمان آشكار ميگردد. اين امر سبب وحشت جامعه جادوگرها ميشود. پس از آن، در سال تحصيلي جديد قرار ميشود مسابقه قهرماني سهجادوگر، از سه مدرسه جادوگري در مدرسه "هاگوارتز" كه هريپاتر دانشآموز آنجاست برگزار شود. نحوه انتخاب شركتكنندگان در مسابقه به اين صورت است كه عدهاي داوطلب شركت در مسابقه ميشوند و "جام آتش" همچون داوري بيطرف، سه دانشآموز را انتخاب ميكند تا با هم رقابت كنند. لرد ولدمورت كه سالها در پي انتقام گرفتن از "هريپاتر" بوده از اين فرصت استفاده ميكند و به كمك يكي از سرسپردگانش، نام هريپاتر را در جام آتش مياندازد و او را وارد مراحل دشوار و خطرناك مسابقه "سه جادوگر" مينمايد؛ اما هريپاتر پس از گذراندن ماجراهاي گوناگون، به كمك دو دوستش "رون" و "هرميون" در اين مسابقه برنده ميشود.

اولین کتاب هری پاتر که خوندم همین هری پاتر و جام آتش بود. من از کتاب چهارم شروع کردم. قبل از خوندن کتابا فیلماشو دیده بودم خوشم نیومده بود یا شایدم چون مد بود نخونده بودم. با کتاب چهارم شروع کردم و بعد تمامشو خوندم. شاید چون این اولین بود همیشه کتاب چهارم رو بیشتر از بقیه دوست داشتم و به نظرم هیجان انگیزتر بوده. سلسله مرگ ها هم با این کتاب شروع میشن. مرگ سدریک اولیه و از این به بعد تو تمام کتابا یک یا دو نفر می میرن.

October 25, 2016مجموعه داستان های هری پاتر از کتاب های مورد علاقه من هستند . حتی اگه مسخره به نظر برسه . ولی خب من این سبک از ادبیات رو دوست دارم . این کتاب نسبت به کتاب های قبلی ( یعنی سه جلد قبلی قوی تره ) ولی خب در مقایسه با بعدی ها ضعیف تره . یعنی داستان از اینجا و از این قسمت کمی پیچیدگی هاش زیاد می شه و خشن تر می شه . و دیگه یه رمان نوجوانانه نیست . به نظر من برای تقویت تخیلتون سری بزنین به کتاب های هری پاتر .
