A time of loneliness.
A task to fulfill.
A heart to break.

Things have been peaceful for the past three months in Apollo City. And while this would normally make Hamilton Dinger happy, Raiya’s sudden departure leaves him irritated and angry.

Despite the decrease in crime and attacks, Hamilton knows it is only a matter of time before the remaining Sinisters and their mysterious new leader cause more trouble for him. When Alora comes under attack, Hamilton and his team, with help from his new friend, Mary, set off with St. Brendan the Navigator to restore the flow of time.

But it is only after they work to save Time do they realize how little of it they have left.

FROM THE BOOK:

I was standing before the entrance to my high school, staring into space and sloshing my feet further into the cold wetness of the surrounding slush, when a foreboding premonition settled on me like softly falling snowflakes.

I'm alone.

FROM THE AUTHOR:

The Starlight Chronicles epic fantasy adventure series continues on with Book 5, Continuing, as Hamilton Dinger and his friends face SWORD, Sinisters, and Elysian's long-lost brother, Draco the Dragon. Look for Book 6, Outpouring, to see how it all comes crashing together!

Perfect for young teenagers or disaffected college students, or adults who enjoy some satire mixed in with some star-crossed lovers and high school drama!

WHAT REVIEWERS ARE SAYING:

It is fun watching the youngsters turning into adults, watching their love mature and strengthen. Sure, they have lots to do on the hero side of things and there is the unraveling of mysteries as they go. Never a dull moment. ~ Gay, Goodreads Reviewer

A Fantastic Continuation of The Starlight Chronicles. I cannot wait to read and listen to the next one.  ~ Malissa, Goodreads Reviewer

I continue to enjoy Hamilton's journey in this series, but with Continuing things just aren't the same without Raiya around. Mikey is in the hospital and hates Hamilton right now, a few secrets are revealed, Hamilton's little brother has more of a presence in this plot, Time gets into trouble, and one major revelation about Elysian's brother, Draco, happens in this book. It's a doozy, too! This wasn't my favorite book but that cover did wow me.

Hamilton realizes he truly is in love with Raiya with her absence in this story and of course he still has to ace his SATs in the midst of fighting Sinisters and saving the world from certain doom. He also has anger and questions for Adonaias but that doesn't get settled here.

I'm very sorry that the main characters have to deal with two betrayals in this book, one is major and totally confusing and one is to be expected but no less deadly. There is a death in this book that didn't make me cry but was total sadness. Johnson is truly a gifted genius with Hamilton's faith and the way he responds to so many things happening at once!

Continuing is the 5th book in this series that I have listened to, and they keep getting better. The characters are developing, but so is the writing and the narration. This book was the best of them all to me. Things from previous books are converging together in this one and I am starting to see a picture of where the series is headed. At least I hope I am because this book was excellent and I want more!

The narration this time around is finally in sync with the book. The narrator seemed to have found the right feel. Before I was a bit turned off by the narration, but this time it flows seamlessly and adds to the book. I found myself drawn in and forgetting that there was a narrator at all - It was just the story, captivating me.

Continuing is the 5th book in this series that I have listened to, and they keep getting better. The characters are developing, but so is the writing and the narration. This book was the best of them all to me.

I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this honest review. The free copy did not influence my review in any way.

Hammy is on his own, he is lonely and misses Raiya a lot, and after a few weeks that she is gone he starts to get really worried. She has gone together with Orpheus to visit the time star Alora, hoping to get another chance at a star wish. Aleia has also lost her memory orb so has no way of contacting her sister, so when things get dire they decide to call for Saint Brendan to travel back to visit Alora. Elysian is suspecting that Draco, his brother is the one behind their troubles, and he knows that he works for Alkuzor, the evil demon trying to usurp the prince of stars himself. Once they get to Alora's star realm what they find is horrendous, as Orpheus has betrayed them all. So Hamilton finds himself battling against the time lapses in Apollo City, fighting Orpheus in Alora's realm as well as fighting yet again to save Raiya's life. All this whilst juggling school and work and trying to find out more about SWORD. Poor Raiya returns from Alora's realm to face her biggest betrayal yet, and she cannot get her mind around what is expected of her as Starry Knight. I think this was one of the best books in the series yet but I hope the story just keeps on getting more powerful.

The author as usual is still be able to pull me through into her world with books. It's no different here than her other ones.

Seeing the world through Hamilton's eyes gives you the feeling of being Hamilton as his story continues.

The pain that he goes through when his best friend is hurting and he can't help him. The pain he goes through when his girlfriend's soul was broken.

Her soul broken of everything that she knew growing up and what she was told, wasn't exactly the whole truth.

How he would do anything to help put her soul back. The fight against good and evil is still not over yet.

I would recommend you get the rest of the series before reading this book. It's a good series and if you are like me you don't want to miss any part of it.

Time Heals

Hamilton Dinger is trying hard not to miss Raiya yet it's still true. The Sinisters are laying low for now. Hamilton learns several truths about himself and the people around him. Can he accept these truths? Will Raiya come back? Find out in Continuing.
