Blue Clouds: A Collection of Soul’s Creative Intelligence

Rate this book
“Blue Clouds” is an unleashing and synthesis of one woman’s silent voice, now expressing a fertile repertoire of poems and poignant short essays. It is a collection of a soul’s deeper creative intelligence.

“Blue Clouds” is a unique form of poetic syntax, divided into five pivotal points of inspiration: Nature, Soul, Dreams, Love and Shadows. It is undefinable and renders its readers with an unexpected connection to their own emotional exploration.

I loved reading this book by Carolyn Riker. She is a wonderful human being and an equally great poet. What made me fall in love with her words is her honesty, love for words, nature and finding peace within self. She makes you wonder about the life you are living and how differently you could live it. The reflection of beautiful proses and poetry verses makes you warm from within and you intend to read this magical book woven with nothing less than love. I read it in breaks because I wanted to swallow her words touching the chords of my heart. I didn't want to rush from one poem to another unless I let it sink in me for all the good reasons. Her poems made me feel happy about my vulnerabilities, flaws and insecurities. Her proses made me promise to self that at the end of the tunnel there is a light waiting to be discovered by me. I love her for writing this beautiful bouquet of love and I look forward to read her other books as well. I admire her for her fearless thoughts and never dying spirit. For me, she is and will always be a special writer and a poet.

This is a beautiful collection of poetry and prose. Carolyn makes you feel, she makes you think, she makes you reflect, and her words invite you to drop into a world of imagination, divinity, beauty and soulful intelligence. Highly recommended for anyone who needs something good for their heart.

some lovely imagery - poetry is so personal and subjective and one poem will speak to one person and not another. Some of the ideas rang true to me and some did not - but i often find that anyway. Glad i read them all.
