In the tradition of E. L. James and Sylvia Day comes a sultry new series starring women who want to live out their wildest dreams . . .
Code Love
Staff Sergeant Tyler Benson is a survivor. He doesn't give up on what he wants, and right now, he wants Cassandra Stephanopolous. He thought about her every single day he was gone. Now that he's back, nothing will stop him from making her his. Plan of Crash Seattle's biggest billionaire-bachelorette auction and make sure he comes out the highest bidder. If he wins a date with Cassie, she'll have to talk to him.
Three years. It's been three years since Cassie said goodbye to Tyler, and she's been trying to pick up the pieces ever since. Just as she's starting to feel ready to move on, he walks in, all cocky smiles and blue-collar charm. She's determined to keep her focus where it should on her thriving jewelry business. But as he lays siege to her heart, she wonders just how long her defenses will last . . .
JM Stewart writes heartfelt contemporary romance. Whether the heat level is sizzling or sweet, her stories are always deeply emotional. Her heroes are strong but sensitive (no alpha jerks here!), and her heroines are more Cinderella than Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Recently transplanted, she now lives in a small town in Texas along with her husband, two sons and two very spoiled dogs. When not writing, she enjoys reading, cooking and playing computer games. As a sensitive soul with a romantic heart, she believes in angels and hopes everyone finds their happily ever after.
This book was so good. It was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be, and it was everything you are going to want to...
You hear about Tyler and Cassie in the other books (and I am not going to give spoilers here, so this is really all I can say) and you really want to know what happened in Cassie's past.
And, I can't tell you. I really can't. Because absolutely anything I can say is a spoiler. I have no idea how to review this without spoilers, and I don't want to ruin it for anyone.
So, what I can say is that the writing, the characters, the story and the plot are absolutely, 100% exactly what you want them to be. My heart was in my throat, I was invested in their story and I couldn't wait to see how it ended. And, then I was sad it was over.
I recommend this book...even though I really can't say all the reasons why.
Overall love the book. Tyler is by far the best character. He is so raw and vulnerable. He comes back and is fighting not only for himself but the woman he loves that pushed him away: Cassie. While fighting for Cassie (who truly doesn’t deserve him after all she did and continued to do) he is struggling with the demons of being held captive during war by the enemy. He has flashbacks and has deep fear. His fear though only makes him lash out to protect and not harm. To tyler though there is no difference and he tries to stay away from Cassie at night but she pushes and he goes out of his comfort zone. So much that you see his bravery but also vulnerability. Tyler is awesome. So strong and real. He doesn’t hide behind any facade for he is what he is and lets you know it.
Cassie on the other hand will have you go grrr….She is selfish in the beginning. Her continual pushing Tyler away will drive you batty. It’s a good thing she has friends that have her see reason and that she starts to treat Tyler better or she truly would stay in the grrr…category. You can understand to a point her behaviour because it is done out of fear but sometimes it just goes way to far.
seeing the walls come down for Cassie is a nice sexy adventure. Watching them fall in love again and discover who each other is once more is alluring. Seeing tyler fight himself and try to come back and live is heartbreaking and warming. He fights for love and so he can have life once more.
This is a wonderfully sexy, endearing, raw story of second chances at love and letting go of your fears so something beautiful can blossom. An entertaining and endearing tale.
A second chance romance where the woman is the billionaire instead of the man. It had a different spin on the same old story. I thought this was going to be refreshing. I was sorta right.
I do like Tyler and his role in this book. I think he was sweet and charming. He does have PTSD and I like how he wanted to get help and work through that. My rating has come down to Cassie though. I disliked her so much I couldn't rate this book higher because of her. She was so selfish and self absorbed. It was all about what she wanted and not what he needed to the point it wasn't even funny. It took her waaaayyyyy to long to come around on that.
I think this is a "it's me not you" on this book. Most of my problems are all stuff that is my pet peeves. You might like this one so give it a shot if it sounds like your kinda thing.
This was an awesome story! The writing, the characters and the storyline were all top notch. We've had glimpses of Cassie and Tyler in prior books and this story lives up to all expectations.
Three years! That's how long the memory of Cassie has kept Tyler going. Now he's back and seeing her and holding her again is all he can think of. All he wants. So when a bachelorette auction gives him a chance to see her again he's all in. After all this time though Cassie won't be so easy to get close to. Tyler's determined though. For him, losing just isn't an option.
Tyler can only take much before he loses it, “you’ve had me wound like a top for hours. I want inside you, baby. We can talk later.” He forced a grin, determined to rid them of the unbearable heaviness hanging over them. “Now kiss me, d**n it.” Cassie was feisty she knew how to bring her man to his knees, "he let out a frustrated groan and flopped back on the bed. “Blue, Cassie. They’re blue. So not nice to tease me right now.” Okay, so her tactic was freaking brilliant. She had him by the balls, and she knew it." I loved this book, and Tyler.
Tyler and Cassie were dating before he was deployed overseas. Before he left he ask Cassie to marry him but Cassie couldn't do it. After loosing her brother to war she couldn't handle the heart break of loosing someone she loved so she did the only thing she could think of tell him she didn't love him.
Then the while Tyler was deployed the family was notified he had died but three years later he finally escapes and comes back hoping to win Cassie back and have the happily ever after.
Cassie tries to fight her feelings for Tyler but after losing your love it's hard to fight because she really does love him.
This is a heart breaking story about a soldier that comes back with PSTD and tries to get his life back to normal. They want him to go back and he wants to be will he risk losing the love of his life and go back? Can he go back and not relive what happened over there?
This is the four book in the Seattle Bachelors series and it was just as good as the other three. The plot keeps you interested and you can help but fall in love with Tyler and hope Cassie changes her mind. - Catherine
I feel torn in half about JM Stewart’s Claiming the Billionaire. I loved Tyler Benson and loved the storyline featuring his PTSD, but I hated Cassandra Stephanopolous and did not understand her. Without loving Cassie, it makes it very hard to like Claiming the Billionaire.
Tyler was missing and held captive in the Middle East for THREE years, so his PTSD is no surprise. Everyone believed him dead - including Cassie. She was devastated by his death, especially because he left for deployment after they had a horrible fight where she broke up with him. It wasn’t that she didn’t love Tyler - she was afraid to lose him when he went off to war. She has been racked with guilt ever since.
When she discovers he is actually alive, she is overjoyed. When he does’t call her immediately upon his return, she pouts and throws a tantrum. He’s only been back a week when he shows up at a charity auction and bids on Cassie. He still loves her and wants to be with her again, and he is certain that she feels the same way. He believes he knows why she pushed him away before he left. He did not contact her immediately, because he was trying to assimilate to normal life after being held captive for THREE years.
Cassie is not interested in seeing or talking to Tyler since he waited a week to show up, and this is where I could not understand Cassie or even like her. How could she not want to see the man that she admits she loved and admits she goofed up royally with him and believed dead for THREE years? It is inconceivable. Even if she hated Tyler and he was the one that had wronged her, you would think she would want to see and talk to him after he comes back alive.
I wish had liked Cassie, because I would have enjoyed Claiming the Billionaire, but I found her annoying and cold. Tyler deserves better.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher for an honest review.
Each of the books in the Seattle Bachelors can be read as a stand alone though you will see the primaries become secondaries in the other books. This particular book features the seemingly wild and out of control Cassie Stephanolophus. She's never settling down and will never give her heart to any man. Use them, sure. Everyone gets what they want that way right?
Unless the man's name is Tyler Benson. Her one and only regret. Gosh these two characters. They've been through some extremely difficult years. Tyler especially. I don't even want to think what our POW's live through. What a hero to make it outside again. They probably don't think that way - but it say something about their strength of will for them to survive being held captive for years.
Tyler is determined to get Cassie to see him. To be with him. Be his. Gosh their love story might break your heart. These two characters definitely deserve an HEA. There are several factors that come into play before it can decided if Cassie and Tyler are due one. And OMG you want to read all about it. These two - their story is equally heart breaking as it is heart warming.

••••••••••••••
REVIEW: 3.75 stars--CLAIMING THE BILLIONAIRE is the fourth and final installment in J. M. Stewart’s contemporary, adult SEATTLE BACHELORS erotic, romance series. This is jewelry designer Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Stephanopolous, and US Army Staff Sergeant Tyler Benson’s story line. CLAIMING THE BILLIONAIRE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. We were first introduced to Cassie in the earlier stories, as well as BARGAINING FOR THE BILLIONAIRE #3.
Told from dual third person points of view (Cassie and Tyler) CLAIMING THE BILLIONAIRE is a second chance story line; a rekindling romance between jewelry designer Cassie Stephanopolous, and Army Staff Sargeant Tyler Benson. Three years earlier Tyler walked out of Cassie’s life, and headed to war in the Middle East. News would come home that Tyler was missing and presumed dead, and for three years our heroine grieved for the man who had stolen her heart. Fast forward to present day wherein Tyler Benson returns home, a broken man held prisoner by the Afghanistan army, but a man who is hoping for a second chance with the woman he loves. What ensues is Cassie’s struggle to accept that Tyler isn’t ready to settle down; and Tyler’s ongoing battles with PTSD and the demons that follow.
The relationship between Cassie and Tyler is one of second chances. Tyler’s return brings with it relief, anger, and betrayal for a woman who thought she had moved forward with the loss of the man that she loved. Cassie has a difficult time accepting Tyler’s reentry into her life, and struggles to come to terms with his need to rekindle what they once had. From the outside looking in Cassie’s handling of Tyler’s return is nothing short of self-centered and immature, and I struggled with my perception of the story line heroine but saying that each person handles grief differently and Tyler’s return from the ‘dead’ is shocking. Tyler is a man desperate to hold onto the one thing that kept him alive throughout his ordeal in an Afghan prison-his memories of Cassie. But his nightly terrors and PTSD dreams threaten the tenuous hold our hero has on his sanity and his love. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense; provocative and passionate.
All of the previous story line couples play secondary and supporting roles. It was nice to revisit with all of the couples as well as a look into what the future has in store.
The world building looks at the emotional impact on those left behind, and the PTSD that the men and women suffer when the world becomes overwhelming and the lines of reality begin to blur.
CLAIMING THE BILLIONAIRE is an emotional and heartbreaking story line of survival, second chances, and love. The premise is profound and timely; the characters are broken, passionate and inspiring; the romance is intoxicating and intense. J. M. Stewart’s SEATTLE BACHELORS series is an enjoyable and impassioned look at four couples, four friendships and four happily ever afters.
I was looking forward to this, sometimes I love a simple straightforward romance, one that’s easy to read, simple and full of fantasy, not in the paranormal sense but in the characters, the rich/famous/powerful guy/girl falling in love with the one without money/job/prestige etc. I thought with the “billionaire” tag that’s what this would be, but in fact that could have been left out of the title as it really wasn’t relevant, only really featured in the billionaire bachelorette auction and was a really tenuous connection.
So its a cute story, but didn’t feel genuine to me. I kind of understood why they split, why Cassandra was scared of commitment, but it was a little odd. Would she really have had such an extreme reaction, just before he's being deployed again? Was it really such a surprise? Hadn’t they talked about where the relationship was going? For an intelligent lady Cassandra is also very blinkered about recognising Tyler’s issues, and I felt she would have picked up on his problems sooner.
I didn’t understand why he went to the lengths of the auction – and all that money he hadn’t actually got – for a date. Why not just try speaking to her first? Why wait a week before crashing in her world. He surely could see that wasn’t going to go down well, after what had gone down between them.
Its just felt very light and fluffy, filled with sex that simply overtook that actual story, and had me skimming through to see what was going to happen. I love sex in books when it feel right, feels relevant to the story, feels as though its inevitable between the characters, where there’s been so much build up that it just has to happen. Here though? Just felt forced, and padded out a - for me - thin storyline.
It’ll be perfect for others, thankfully we all enjoy different types of stories but for me it was a fail :-(
Stars: Two, perfect for others but sadly not for me.

Claiming the Billionaire is my first read by J.M. Stewart and it has definitely put her books on my radar! Despite the title, the billionaire trope is only a side aspect of this beautiful story of second chance, the reunion of two soul mates separated by insecurities and war.
Cassie Stephanopoulos’s life has been in limbo for three years. Before being deployed to Iraq, her boyfriend, Tyler Beson, proposed to her but she turned him down. She was afraid of commitment and couldn’t handle the risk of losing him. But she could never put the past behind her and move on. Although she thought Tyler was dead, she never stopped waiting for him, hoping for a miracle to happen.
After three long and harrowing years, Tyler is back. He was held captive by insurgents and has managed to escape. He has been to hell and back, but he survived. Tyler isn’t the same person he was before, he is deeply scarred by the horrors he has endured in captivity. He suffers from post-traumatic stress, and adjusting to civilian life is not easy. Cassie is the reason why he wants to pick himself up and find help. He is determined, and refuses to give up on the woman he still loves. But he needs to convince her that he is back for good.
This book is an emotion filled read that takes you on a journey to Tyler and Cassie’s well deserved happily ever after. It’s their chance to come full circle and I enjoyed reading their story. The characters were well-developed and I loved the dynamics with their close-knit group of friends. I did find Cassie a bit too hesitant for my liking, though! This book is the fourth installment in the Seattle Bachelors series, but can be read as a standalone.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher, via NetGalley.
***ARC PROVIDED BY THE AUTHOR IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW***
‘Claiming The Billionaire’ by J.M. Stewart was a great read but really what’s not to love about a billionaire second chance romance with fun and feisty characters, 4 stars.
I hadn’t read of the previous ‘Seattle Bachelors’ stories but that didn’t seem to matter when reading and enjoying this book. If the whole billionaire aspect is something you don’t enjoy don’t worry as it is not that much of a prominent aspect in this book as you’d think because of the title, it is more of a background thing.
Cassie and Tyler have major baggage that has an effect on their relationship but neither stopped loving the other even after years apart but it isn’t easy for Cassie to open up and let Tyler back in especially considering she has mourned him. Even though Cassie thought Tyler was dead she still had this smidgen of hope tucked away in her heart that he would come back but even with that hope it is difficult for her to trust him.
Tyler, however, is determined to win Cassie back even if Cassie isn’t he is and he is going after what he wants and needs which is her. What I didn’t expect from this book was the storyline of How Tyler has to come to terms with being a prisoner of war and the PTSD that it has left him with. I thoroughly enjoyed that aspect as it was really well written. Throughout it was interesting getting to know Cassie and Tyler and watch as they got to know one another again.
This was an entertaining read that has given me another author to add to my list and go back and read again. There are some bits that are emotional but the story is worth reading.
Cassie has gotten to calls from Ty's mom she would rather leave in the past but this call seems to have rocked her world harder then she knows what to do with it and she has no idea whats going to happen next. Tyler is home and very much alive in body but his spirit and his should and mind need healing from three years of hell, a task that he's not even to sure he can take one. He needs to see Cassie with every breathe in his body and he needs her in his life. When she sets so rules he plans to break everyone one of them, he has been with out her for three years and nothing including her is going to stop him, But will he be able to convince her they are meant to be together or will the secrets and the demons he's fighting be just to much for both of them? I have to say that this book knocked it out of the park for me, i have really enjoyed this series and I have had a hard time putting a book down once I started. This book was amazing. The character truly feel like you are just catching up with friends and not reading about a bunch of fictional people. The author does an amazing job at making sure that the characters are very much normal people with normal problems and not just a bunch of rich people with rich people problems. I really enjoyed how in this book that it wasn't so much about the sex as in the first three but let me tell you it was just as HOT as the others. This book does contain some adult language and scenes and may not be suitable for all readers. But for those who are ok grab this series and have fun you wont be disappointed.
With the fourth installment of her Seattle Bachelor’s series, Claiming the Billionaire, J.M. Stewart has again written a very enjoyable book. Tyler and Cassie are interesting and complex. Their situation is compelling.
The last three years have been hard on Cassie. She’s been so steeped in regret that she’s been seeking peace of mind in all the wrong places with all the wrong men. Nothing is going to ease her pain over the way she treated the one man she’s ever loved though. Believing he’s dead, she doesn’t think there will ever be a chance to make amends.
Tyler’s hung onto his love of Cassie for the three years he spent as a POW. He regrets the argument he had with Cassie before he left for Iraq, too. He doesn’t have any doubts about Cassie being his one and only love though. He fears the ghosts who haunt him now add another perhaps insurmountable impediment to Cassie coming back to him.
Stewart does a really good job describing the challenges for both when dealing with Tyler’s PTSD. The situations with Tyler are very realistic. The tension is good while we watch the difficultly the two have coming to terms with so many issues. Can Tyler heal enough to not be a danger to Cassie?
Claiming the Billionaire is well written, at times gut-wrenching, tender, loving and hopeful.
Staff Sergeant Tyler Benson was in love. He wanted nothing more than to marry Cassie before he was deployed. She couldn't do it, but thoughts of her kept him going when he was missing for three years. Now home, he only wants Cassie back, and he'll do anything to have her. Tyler was a survivor, living through an ambush followed by years of torture. He had issues you couldn't imagine having, but they almost disappeared when he was with Cassie. My heart ached for the things he endured. I was truly rooting for him to win Cassie over again. Cassandra was scared. She lost her brother, thought she lost Tyler. She can't go through that again. I could completely understand her fear. Fear can make a person unreasonable, so can love. Emotions get mixed up and you have no idea what to do. Nothing seems like the right answer and you feel like you just need to protect yourself from inevitable hurt. I loved the basis of the book. A soldier deployed, captured, assumed dead. The knowledge that people eventually move on, but the pain doesn't go away. This book was well written and there wasn't a dull moment. Stewart kept reading and engaged, anxious to see what Cassie's decision would be. There are other books in the series but this can be read as a standalone.
That's how long Cassie has lived with the knowledge that Tyler died thinking she didn't love him, instead of being truthful that she was afraid to lose him when he deployed. Three long years of grief, regret, and an inability to move on. Until one phone call sets her world on edge. "He's alive, and coming home."
Three years of captivity has a way of changing a man, but one thing that hasn't changed is Tyler's love for Cassie. And now that he's home, he intends to prove what he's always known - that he's meant to be with Cassie. He just hopes that he's able to make her admit it, and that she's able to deal with the damaged man he's become.
I reeeeeally wanted to love this one, but it didn't happen. Honestly, I wasn't a fan of Cassie at all. She came across as self-centered, selfish, and childish. I don't want to get into the reasons why (because I don't want to spoil the plot), but I just couldn't get past how rigid she was in her wants versus his needs. I mean, it seemed as if it didn't matter what he went through, as long as she got what she wanted. (JMHO) And when she did come around, (for me) it was too little - too late.
In Claiming the Billionaire, Cassie Stephanopoulos is reunited with the boyfriend she lost three years ago, Tyler Benson. As a result of his experiences in Iraq, Tyler isn’t the same man Cassie knew him as before, and yet, he’s just as determined to win her heart. Despite the way they left things before he left for Iraq.
Claiming the Billionaire is an emotional read that tugged at my heartstrings as easily as the sex scenes burned up the pages of my kindle. Cassie and Ty’s reunion was fantastic and unique and heartbreaking all at the same time. What they both experienced during their time apart, combined with their undeniable chemistry and need to figure things out between them now, made for a terrific, fast-paced read that was impossible to put down or to forget.
If you’re even remotely thinking of picking up one of these books, I highly recommend doing it. Every single book has been a sexy, compelling read right from the start and the talented skill level of the author has made each story impossible to put down. I started with the first book in this series, Bidding on the Billionaire, but you can just as easily jump in with the newest release, Claiming the Billionaire, because every single story in this series is brilliant.
Cassie Stephanopolus is rich, successful and heartbroken. She never got over the loss of Tyler Benson. Everyone thought he died, but they were wrong. He was held captive by insurgents who tortured him and killed his comrades. Somehow he managed to escape. Now he's back home and struggling. He can't live without Cassie, but she won't admit that she cares for him. Can these two people overcome their issues and find a HEA? Cassie has never dealt with the loss of her brother. She hates that war destroyed her family. I was sad that she pushed Tyler away. He loves her and their chemistry is amazing. Tyler needs Cassie. She gives him a feeling of peace and safety but he's afraid that his PTSD will cause him to harm her. It was heartbreaking to watch him struggle to get back his life. This is a compelling story. I couldn't put this book down. I was pulled into this story. JM Stewart did an excellent job. She made me care for Cassie and Tyler. Claiming The Billionaire was the most intense of the Seattle Bachelors books. It touched my heart. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader copy of this book.
Reviewed on behalf of Once Upon An Alpha.
What happens when the love of your life comes back from the dead? Billionaire Cassandra Stephanopolous has spent the last three years grieving for Staff Sergeant Tyler Benson, the one she let "get away." When Tyler returns a different man after being held in captivity by the enemy the one thing he is sure of is that Cassie is not getting away from him this time.
JM Stewart did a fine job of portraying the overall family/friend dynamic of a POW trying to assimilate back into civilian life. Drama and passion were as high as the individual stakes in this work. Characters striped down and vulnerable, this author showed strength in what many might consider weakness.
Claiming the Billionaire, book four in the Seattle Bachelors series, is a story where past regrets are overcome by the power of love. Readers will cheer Ms. Stewart’s latest couple on as who does not love a well written romantic victory!
*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own.* *While part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone.*
Claiming the Billionaire has a lovable leading man in Staff Sergeant Tyler Benson and a not so likable leading lady, Cassandra Stephanopolous. For 3 years, Tyler was held as a POW in Iraq and suffered so much that you feel relieved when you find out he's alive. Now that he's home, he wants nothing more than to have Cassie back at his side, just like old times. Only, Cassie has closed off her heart. This won't be an easy task.
While the story was emotion-filled and I rooted for Tyler, there were moments I felt myself rooting against Cassie. I just didn't find her to be that likable. There were moments you can see her softening up, but the wall went back up almost immediately. I cheered at the end, but at times it hard to get there. Once you get pass all the frustration you have for Cassie, it's a nice love story between two people who had their lives changed in a matter of 3 years. I enjoyed the romance aspect of the story and who doesn't like a HEA?! I look forward to starting this series from the beginning.
Claiming the Billionaire lived up to all of my expectations. Cassie stole every scene she dared to grace in Gray and Madison's story, so it was a forgone conclusion that her own story would be explosive. Cassie is classy, brashy and not afraid to get trashy. Like in everything else, when she loves, she does so with her whole being and when she hurts, the healing process is a long, difficult one. Tyler is the perfect match for such a volatile woman. Rebellious and determined this man has survived some of the hardest conditions and tragedies of his life. No way is "No" going to stop him from claiming his prize. The heart of the one woman who can break his heart or save his soul. JM Stewart delivered a flameworthy couple that does combustible like no other but still manages to bring out the tears along the way.
Claiming the Billionaire by J.M. Stewart is book number four in the Seattle Bachelors series. This is Staff Sergeant Tyler Benson and Cassandra "Cassie" and Stephanoplous' story.
Tyler has been through some horrific situations but has survived. He is back and is determined to make Cassie his. Cassie feels like that she getting her life back. Then Cassie receives the second shock of her life that Tyler is back.
This is a second chance romance with the characters having to deal with emotional and difficult circumstances. The author did a great job of incorporating a steamy romance with bringing awareness to PTSD.
Another great addition to the Seattle Bachelors series. I have loved and enjoyed reading this series.
FYI, includes mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the last in the series, and my favourite of the four. The rich person in this book is Cassie, the jewelry designer who is now friends with Maddie (from book 3).
Her lost love is Ty, an Iraq veteran with PTSD. This is the story of how they come together and overcome his survivor's guilt. I've not read anyone else's reviews but I would be curious how the author deals with PTSD. It seems very thoughtful to me, but I lack any experience.
At the end of the book we spend time with all four couples, that's something I really like about these books. We keep contact with the couples who's romantic struggles we've read about earlier.
I love the whole Seattle Bachelors series and I loved that they can be read as stand alone. Cassie and Tyler's story was so wonderful. You could feel Tyler's torment and Cassie's feelings, her love but also being afraid of losing anyone else that she cared about. Yes I did cry in a few places but for me I see that as a good thing. I love when a book touches my emotions.
Claiming the Billionaire by JM Stewart is the last book in her Seattle Bachelor’s series. This is a standalone book. I’ve read all four books and have enjoyed each of them. I enjoy reading second chance books and Claiming the Billionaire did not disappoint. I could feel the emotions each character felt. I feel Ms. Stewart handled the issue with PTSD well. I highly recommend Claiming the Billionaire and all of the books in the Seattle Bachelors series.
Cassie has been mourning the death of her real love during the last 3 years. Against all hope, he comes back home alive, having been detained hostage for all the years he was thought dead. And so what was Cassie reaction? To be angry at him! First because it took him a week to come to her, and secondly because he came to her wanting to rekindle their relationship. That was ridiculous.
As for Tyler, that man had no business trying to get in a relationship before sorting himself first.
