free boxed set of 4 ebooks
the first story was about meredith and aidan. he met a woman in a salon and wanted to rescue her, he married her but she took off with the packed wagon along with 5 yrs of his gold
he worked hard for 5 yrs, moved to montana and got a milk cow herd. but he wanted a wife and put a ad in the paper
she was living with her aunt and uncle who were not nice after her parents died. she had a little dog. she answered his ad and he paid to have her go from boston to montana. she met his first wife on the train, not knowing who she was, and wrote a story about her that was sold to go in the paper
she met him and really liked him and he wanted to marry her but never said he loved her. while he was busy during calving season the first wife showed up and told her he still loved her which wasnt true. but they finally figured things out , got married and he built a nice house for her
the second story in the set is about
amelia and byron
her mother died, her father remarried and had a 5 yr old son he left her to raise while he traveled with his new wife, leaving her no money for food , she had to sell her and her moms jewelry.
she answered a ad from a sheriff and he sent a ticket for her to come. her father and mother wanted to send her brother to school so she took him with her
they married and raised the boy and a monkey

camille and harry
his neighbor the sheriff, wrote the ad for him. he got cows and lived in a shack. she was a singer and joined a troupe where the man knew her mom. they corresponded by letters for a year, met and got married. the neighbors helped him build a house

mariella and will the smitty
her father tried to marry her off. she had answered a ad and he sent her train ticket. she met him and they liked each other. she found out her dad was her uncle
book 4 winona and robson
she was taking care of sick people and her mom who had problems with her mind
he was a dr, he didnt place the ad or know who did. hers was the only letter he wanted to correspond with
they wrote for a while and became friends, and he had a convention to go to in her town so they met and he asked to marry her and bring her mama home with them, she said yes. her moms mind cleared up

I enjoyed reading these stories. I loved that each book included characters from each of the previous ones. A bit of a downfall was the proofreading/typos. Otherwise these were nice quick reads that are clean and non-religious.

Audiobook Version
Very well written short stories. The narrator did a spectacular job with all these characters. Each of the stories had interesting plots and wonderful characters. I would recommend this collection.

An enjoyable set of audiobooks!!! A fun look back at the resilience of our pioneering sisters!!! Spunky and clever these woman are resourceful and change these men’s lives...love!!

Everyone of the included stories are well written and very interesting. The way the relationships developed kept me reading. I really hated when the stories ended.

This is a nice series of books. The characters are great and it was nice to revisit each of them in the books.
