Dan Coast is a great collector. Of characters. His list of friends would be really unbelievable if it weren't for the fact that he lives in Key West. After all, it isn't nicknamed 'Key Weird' for nothing! And in this seventh installment of the story of Dan Coast's life, he does what he always does best. No, I'm NOT going to give you specifics, you're supposed to read the book! I will say this much, Deadly Moves has everything that we've come to expect and enjoy from this series and it was a quick and fun read. Way to go, Rodney, keep them coming!

I am not a fan of the Dan Coast character. I think the author could have developed him better. If he is supposed to seem like a bumbling idiot, the author has achieved that goal.

Mr. Riesel continues the adventures of Dan Coast in this story. It is a good plot, but Dan is still an enabled alcoholic by all of the people around him. The cast of characters continues to grow around him. He wants to be a private detective, but cannot commit to being legal! How long he can drag this out is open to question. He is a smart man and figures things out as the story goes along. His dog is puts up with his nonchalance towards him as he keeps trying to give it away! Further adventures to come?

I really like this series. Dan of course is my favorite character with Red coming in a close second. Mel fills in as a lovable (almost) innocent. I will be sorry when the series is complete

So off to start the next book.what's with the minimum words to write a review? Bye all have a good day

Another great book

It's always good to read another Dan Coast book and enjoy another adventure with all of Dan's sarcastic statements , and always drinking tequila, 7-up and lime, makes a person want to try that.

Great dialogue

I enjoy this author, the injections of humor, throughout this book, caused me to not just chuckle but to laugh out loud. The story line was interesting and Dan Coast is unique.

Deadly Moves

Just a lot of fun to read. Mel just tickles me. Love the way he rattles Dan. The mystery wasn't the best but Dan and his friends keep me e entertained.

More plot less drinking

This was by far the most entertaining book to date. Humor replaced the continued references to drinking . This work was perhaps the best to date !

One of the best in the Dan Coast series as far as a plot. Some words were either wrong or misspelled which is frustrating but I couldn’t downgrade for that because it was just a few and the story was just too good.

‘Deadly Moves’ is the best of the series so far. Dan is still an jerk but the amount by which he is a jerk has been steadily decreasing and I think there is a correlation between the more he becomes likable to the amount I’m enjoying the stories. The book does a good job of blending mystery, action and humor. The writing is good and I love the characters and can’t wait for the next installment!
