I had a nightmare trying to get this netgalley ARC downloaded however finally I got to review it just before the archive date. Which has actually ended up working in my favour. When I requested the book I was flirting with the idea of dating again and if I'm honest, that's all I've done for a while. I'll create profiles online and then do nothing with them. However in recent weeks I've decided to take this dating game a bit more seriously and see what I can achieve and woop I finally get to download the book.

So was it worth the wait? Yes definitely. The first section is for those newly single and the grieving process of dealing with a partner no longer being in your life. As with all the chapters (so I don't end up repeating myself) it's full of hint, tips and advice.

There's chapters on getting back into the dating vibe and getting out there, a guide to being a better flirt and a big section on online and app dating. The final bit is a 60 day challenge - I've read through it and it's frankly terrifying! Not the writing or the advice that it but me now having to have a go at it. And I will because I felt I'd learnt a few things to take me forward to my next chapter. I've spotted areas where I may be going wrong, there are things I have been doing but could try a bit harder with and then some bits that will be so far out of my comfort space but I guess it's a case of 'no play, no win'.

It's a fun book, I really enjoyed it. It's short and if you buy it on kindle it will be really colourful and inviting looking (not sure what the paperback version will look like). I recommend it... so now I'm off to try and flutter my eyelashes in the coffee shop :)

If I only had this book sooner! I went through a tough break-up two years ago, but was still dealing with a broken heart when I picked up DATING AGAIN. This book is for anyone who is going through a life shattering break-up or divorce. Through my tears and anger, the author’s words are uplifting. It feels as if Fran is talking directly to you. She is your cheerleader who really wants you to recover. DATING AGAIN has an amazing flow, I read it quickly and eagerly. I find myself going back to certain parts that really resonated with me.
This book is full of caring words, helpful exercises and specific advice that will help get you ready to date- whether you are currently healing a broken heart or you have just been “out of the game” for a while. The section on online dating was the most insightful part for me. Fran gives detailed examples and walks you through the whole process of creating a profile, the do’s and don’ts of photos, and how to craft a catchy headline. Most importantly, she explains how to make online dating work for you in your everyday life. I completed DATING AGAIN’s 60 Day Dating Action Plan. I told all my friend how helpful and easy to follow the PLAN was. I hope you love this book as much as I did. I will be giving it as a gift to anyone I know who is entering the dating scene.

This is almost a bible for anyone that has been through any form of heartbreak, which consists of a book split into five parts, or steps: declutter; find joy; flaunt it; master it; and embrace your future. Written by a relationship expert and professional dating coach, you know you are in safe hands here!

The book consists of lots of short and snappy tips, such as 'seven clues you're ready to date' and lots of little mantras to fill yourself with some confidence. There are some very obvious bits of advice, such as 'don't call or e-mail your ex', which of course we all know but need reminding from time to time, so it definitely doesn't help to have those bits of common sense littered throughout this book! The book consists of some simply exercises to consider your own strengths, rationalise your thoughts, and look to the future. All the exercises are a great help to formulate your likely untidy thoughts into some semblance of order!

Each chapter is packed full of useful advice, such as some first date ideas, lines for asking someone out, and many more. I wonder if it would have been helpful to have a different title for the book as opposed to 'dating again' - the first chapter of the book is really helpful for the post-break up days, yet the cover suggests that the book is only appropriate for those that are ready to jump into the dating pool again.

I look the loose pop art theme, the layouts of the pages with a good balance of colour and illustrations alongside good-sized chunks of paragraph. This is a brilliant book and I"d certainly buy it for myself (heaven knows I could have done with this a few months ago!) and would highly recommend to friends.

(Thanks to NetGalley for this copy).

Dating Again with Courage and Confidence is a 5 star read. If only I had this book when I was going through my most recent break up. It would have helped me so much to get over the devastation I experienced. It was so encouraging, down to earth, full of practical suggestions and Dating Again gave mess much hope. As a guy, this information and advice was exactly what I needed. A must for anyone with a broken heart. It has given me such a confidence boost when it comes to dating. It was awesome. P.S. Having this book on hand is like having aspirin in your medicine cabinet. When you need it, it's right there. C.B.

Fran truly understands how breakups turn your life upside down and inside out. Dating after your heart has been broken needs the compassion, chutzpah and wisdom from my favorite love expert. Fran will get you to lay your ex to rest and YES, love again.

Straight up skipped Step 5. Maybe I shouldn’t have picked this book when I’m in between jobs and don’t have a clue what I’m doing with my life. I’ll come back to it when I’m settled and know I’m not going to be moving in a year.

Dating isn't always as easy as it looks -- especially after a traumatic breakup or divorce.
What helps tremendously is the 5 Step Plan in this book. First, Fran helps you declutter your life
and find joy in being you. Then, she leads you through the next steps to become a confident flirt and a
master of online dating. And by the time you get to Step 5, well, you're ready for her Dating Action Plan! This is a "must have" book for anyone re-entering the dating world. It's also fun to read with its cool layout and playfully-attractive graphic design.
