A BBW who needs money PLUS a vampire king who wants to impregnate her PLUS a violent enemy out for revenge!
Maribel Arnaz never thought she’d sell off her virginity. But she’s about to...
Robbed of everything by an ex-boyfriend, Maribel needs money. One signature and some blood, and she has what she wants – a job as a vampire’s blood donor. This should be easy, right? Right. Until the sexy-as-hell vampire king makes her an offer. She can have whatever she wants, if she bears him a child.
It’s just a business agreement. No emotions involved. So why is she so drawn to that predatory gleam in his eyes?
Vampire king Sheridan wants an heir and has found the right woman for the job. But he can’t satisfy his needs, because he might lose control and hurt his human mate. What is he supposed to do? She tortures him with her golden-olive skin, lush curves and body made for love. How much longer before he gives into temptation?
When others try to take her away from him, there’s nothing he won’t do to make them pay. There’s only one way to make them obey a vampire king. Fight. Destroy. Anything to get her back.
NOTE: This book includes 5 bonus stories!
Chosen by The Vampire King is a 17,000-word standalone book in a series of Vampire King romance novels. Other parts of the series (more coming soon!): Claimed by the Vampire King Owned by the Vampire King
The books each have a guaranteed HEA and contain plenty of action, hot vampires, steam and pregnancies. Definitely intended for 18+ readers.
Another take on the vampire. Interesting and easy to read. Maribel needs the money that the vampires offered to be a living donor. She needed the money so bad. Her ex stole her identity and now she had to pay off the debt. She was happy to be selected, but she was shocked when the vampire king decided she would be his private donor and service only him. And now he wanted a baby. She could do that because honestly she was falling for Sheridan, the vampire king. But not everyone is happy, humans and vampire alike, and there is war brewing. Good read with a HEA
Getting paid a lot of thousands to serve as living blood donor but for Mabel she needs the money to get out of the millions her so called boyfriend racked up but Mabel didn't expect to be more of a donor but a paid womb. King needs a child and Mabel will carry, slight difference, he won't be sleeping with her nor drinking from her...
I really liked this story. Fairytales apparently come true. Maribel is a prime example. What started out as a business transaction, ended up being so much more. I really liked Maribel. She is smart and quick on her feet. She's not expecting Sheridan, the Vampire King, to love her but she's staying true to herself when she insists he marry her. I was furious with the zealots. What gives them the right to "save the women from the vampires"? Then when her skeezie ex-boyfriend hooks up with them, oooh I just wanted to beat him. Not to mention a traitor in the castle. I liked that Sheridan knew about the baby before Maribel. I was pleased with the way it finally worked out.
Well written (very few typos). I would have liked for this book to have been longer. There just didn't seem to enough past, present (and future) included. I would recommend this book if you are looking for a quick read, but if your looking for something to get involved with, I would look elsewhere.
The King must have known right off the bat that this humane beauty was his. Good storyline were this Vampire knew what he wanted..plus he cared about the humans in his castle. His human knew what she wanted too! Was intense and good reading.
Good Fantasy reads. If you want a few good stories to take you away from your hum drum life, here they are. The male characters are buff and protective, just what every woman craves.
This book feels more like a prequel. A lot of info was left out, as if I would learn more in a full length book. Maybe they'll be a full length series in the future.
What kind of vampires were they, no explanation or reference to sunlight and silver hurts them, how could he impregnate a women if he is dead or some other kind of variation of vampire. Too many questions not enough substance to this book.
