Liam: I have a dark secret. Locked in a past I can't escape, I race against the clock to save the one woman who completes me. My mate. She doesn't know it yet, but I'm the alpha from her dreams. I have to tell her, claim her, and make her mine... but sinister forces and a single act of vengeance threatens to tear apart any chance we have. Do I risk the future for one chance to make everything right?
What if your soul was bound to another without your knowledge?
Nara: Liam is always too close. Watching from a distance, claiming to be my friend, I don't trust the feelings of warmth and desire when he's near. I've had my heart broken before... but now he's inched his way into my affection and I can't deny the promise of passion I see in his eyes. Something about him draws me in. Dare I take a chance and risk everything even if it means I could lose it all?

She's a mom to six sons, two of whom are Marines. Books are her favorite escape.
I love shifter stories and I really enjoyed this captivating and interesting story. The story-line and characters are interesting and I like them. I also enjoyed the suspense, intrigue and twists and turns in this story. I look forward to reading more from this writer.

“Silver Moon” would make a perfect read for all fans of the supernatural genre as it not only transports you into a world of shapeshifters but weaves a beautiful love story between the two main characters, Nara and Liam. Even though the book is part of a series it can easily be read as a standalone, and that’s another big plus for any reader. The plot and multiple sub plots that reveal one secret after another is very well thought-out and kept me on the edge of my seat as I followed Nara and Liam’s story. Liam patiently waited for Nara - his soulmate - to finally recognize him as her mate. His patience paid off at last, and the two eventually got married; however, Liam keeps a secret from Nara that may very well threaten not only their future together but Nara’s life itself… Lycans, werewolves and werecats, enemy clans and old feuds make this story a real page turner, which I would definitely recommend to all fans of the genre. Five stars.
Nara is a stubborn and feisty female Lycan who was arranged to marry another but he wasn't as in love with her as she was with him and he called it off. Confusion plagues her as she considers never being mated or having the family she wishes to have one day. Cue in Liam who has been apart of her life since birth and happens to be an intricate part of her family. He taunts her and protects her, but his reasoning isn't clear until their first kiss.
Griffin is Liam's beta and somehow has fallen in love with Nara. Fast forward and you have a war with the Darkness.
This story is told in Liam, Griffin and Nara's POVs. It contains just enough drama to not be too much. There were times I wanted to throat punch Liam.
To find out what happens between the love triangle (promise no cheating) and how the war started, read the book. It's a very good shifter romance.

This story is full of love. Nara and Liam truly belong together. The language Nikki uses to describe their romance is totally swoonworthy. In some ways, she makes you wish for the type of connection the Lycans enjoy once they’ve met their mate, or true match. The devotion they show one another is enviable.
There was so much happening in the book, it was hard to follow at times. I feel like the book could have been drawn out into a series so the conflict could have created a bit more emotion before it is resolved. With that said, I was on edge a few times, unsure of whether she was going to allow an HEA or not.
If shifters and paranormal romance is your thing, Silver Moon will be right up your alley!
I love soulmates, and Nikki Landis knows how to write them. This was such a beautiful story, filled with love both romantic and between family. I enjoyed that the love between Liam and Nara wasn't instant (though it was, but it wasn't, you'll have to read to follow that LOL) and that it wasn't perfect. They both made mistakes, both kept things from each that should have been in the open. Nara actually had to deal with a lot of people keeping things from her and they are lucky, she was more forgiving than I would have been. Under the romance was some great word building and a plot that was intricate and a lot of fun. I hope Nikki comes back to this world as I'd love to hear more it and maybe see a story about Griffin, who I adored.
When you finish a book and can’t stop saying “oh my gosh” repeatedly with a huge grin on your face you know that the book was amazing. Looking for a wolf shifter love story that has you on the edge from the beginning until the very end you’ll love this story. Liam and Nara are soulmates without a doubt and what it takes for them to be together is priceless. When you add Griffin into the pack you’ll be cheering them all on. There were moments I held my breath and couldn’t believe what I was reading and couldn’t move my eyes fast enough to see what was going to happen next. Happy tears and so much emotions are rolling round my head right now. I adored this book and highly recommend you grab a copy. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
Fantastic, Hooked from the first chapter!! The characters were fantastic and the story line was intriguing. I haven't read many "shifter" books but I'm surprised how easily I understood the dynamics of wolf behavior. Even the transition when they shifted was exciting and believable, and I liked that they were still very much themselves. Nara is a strong heroine who isn't afraid to lean on her hero for help, even if it took them a while to get there. Liam was strong and protective but also patient and sweet. I loved the brief appearance of Rhia & Bae (which has me itching to read the next Fight for Light novel). All I know is Nikki Landis is quickly becoming my favorite new author.
This is an awesome paranormal romance with some hot and sexy shifters! Well written this story will captivate you from the start and has a little bit of everything in it from action and battles to romance and falling in love! Throw in some twists and turns and you will be on the edge of your seat hoping that they get their HEA!

I enjoyed the love story between Nara and Liam, especially their rough start. It wasn't a love at first sight novel. There was always a hint of secrecy and danger lying ahead. And then there was a kind of push and pull between the couple. It kept me reading.
Awesome! Loved it. It has everything. Shifters, Soulmates, Evil, Werewolves a pending war of good against evil. The characters are so engaging you find yourself believing you are there watching whats going on. I will be reading the rest of this series. Great read!!
Silver Moon is a spinoff of the series Fight for Light by Nikki Landis. This book follows the wolves, shifters, who are descendants of the Nephilim. War is coming, and they must prepare. Liam has been in love with Nara since forever. But her father is not ready or willing to let her go. She's been engaged for years to another, Ralen, but Ralen does not love her like that. He cares for her but he does not love her. After an attack, Nara begins to see Liam in a different light. She's always viewed him more as a friend, but now things are changing between them. Liam has secrets from his past that he is keeping from Nara. Nara is already hesitant about things between them, but soon she will have no choice about where her path takes her. I am an avid fan of paranormal romance novels, and when I saw this book I had high hopes. I thought that this story would give me some backstory about these shifters being descendants of the Nephilim, but that isn't the case. This is, honestly, a very fast-paced romance novel. Things happen very quickly. One minute, Nara views Liam as just a friend of her brothers, a friend of the family, etc and then the next thing there is something between them and they're mating. When the story slows down and is there, it's an enjoyable novel to read. But there is a lot of chaos going on. Once things actually get established between Nara and Liam I like and enjoy the romance between them. There are a few surprises in this story, which I like. They help to keep the reader engaged. My biggest issues with this story come from the pace. I feel that there are holes in the story. An example would be: one minute Nara is going to bed and then literally in the next chapter she's in a tavern getting drunk and heading home. I feel like a chunk of the story is missing. Also, I feel that there are quite a few inconsistencies in the story and with the characters. One chapter Nara is a lightweight drinker, then a few chapters later she's pregnant and drinking like a heavyweight. I didn't like all the secret keeping on Liam's part either. He went around hiding too much from Nara. He is an alpha, but that shouldn't just give him carte blanche to do whatever, especially with this mate. I didn't like his attitude half the time. He was much too arrogant. Then there were double standards with Nara as well. For me, all of these things severely flawed the story for me. While this story is a spinoff from another series and can, loosely speaking, be read as a standalone, I'd recommend reading the other series first. The author touches on somethings with the princess who is soon to be queen, and I have no idea what is being talked about. I personally intend to read the Fight for Light series as soon as I am able so that I can get a better understanding of the other characters who are "minor" in this story. I am rating this book 4 out of 5 stars. The story had a lot of potentials and I don't feel that it fully measures up. I had hoped for a tie in with the Nephilim to be a central part of the story as well, but that is not the case. I'm really disappointed about this. I had high expectations and they weren't met. The story shifts chapter to chapter to Liam, Nara, and Griffin. Liam and Griffin's chapters are told in third person and Nara's are told in the first person. If you love paranormal romance and are a fan of Nikki Landis's work, then I encourage you to check out this book. Silver Moon (Descendants of Nephilim: Lycan War #1) by Nikki Landis I received this book from the author for an honest review. I love a good shifter book and this one didn’t disappoint!!! Whoop Whoop!!! I love a mysterious alpha who also has some scars on his heart. I love a strong female who wont just take orders and expects full respect and love. Nara and Liam fit the bill to a T. The story starts and I admit it’s a little bit choppy getting through the backstory abut Nara and her betrothal and Liam being the creepy “big brother” type in the background. However, once the background is told it does seem to flow better. Liam has always known Nara was his and once he gets her to open her eyes and SEE him for who he is, her soul mate, everything changes. Liam has some dark secrets and is afraid to tell Nara everything. His pride is something that causes issues between the two. Nara too has issues that cause the couple trouble….like her mile long stubborn streak. The backstory of Liam and the story about the war to come is a good one. Though Liam and Nara have serious communication issues between them but they still find the love that they have between each other. I loved the story about the war that is coming and I will definitely enjoy reading more in the series.
🐺Silver Moon 🐺 I Liked it Let's start with a synopsis The world building - this tale uniquely intertwined multiple shifters and fantasy creatures and cultures to create an immensely entertaining universe The characters were well written and detailed - each had a very distinct personality trait - the secondary characters were strongly represented as well The storyline was intriguing filled with twists and hidden plots that engage and stimulate the reader Overall it was a great tale Here is where I am probably going to be fed to the wolves - I could not stand Liam. For me, an Alpha requires certain traits and Liam just did not live up to those requirements - as a matter of fact, I quite possibly may have chosen his beta as a better representation I also found certain areas of the story seemed to stumble along bringing me out of the storyline I also occasionally found myself skipping through sections instead of a consistent read I do however look forward to reading more both in the series and from the author
Nara is a lycan and healer. She has been betrothed to a mage, Ralen for forty years. In the meantime Liam has sat to the side watching knowing she was his soulmate. Then comes the day when she accepts him then her father and her brothers try to take him out but she tells them not to because she chose him. They leave for his pack where she will be his Queen. Unfortunately war is coming to the lands and the past is coming to be visited upon Liam and in turn on Nara. Liam;s biggest fault is his pride and he feels that the one thing in his past will make Nara leave him for good so he starts to push her away. Then his past threatens to take his Nara away. To add to that his beta Griffin starts to feel stirrings of love for his alpha;s mate. Life isn;t easy and is downright dangerous. Fantastic story which will keep you enthralled in the story till the last eye opening page!!

Liam has waited for years to claim Nara, even staying faithful while she is engaged to another man! Now the wait is over and she's Liam's at last, but this is only the beginning of this epic shifter adventure.
Liam must save not only his soul mate, but his clan, and the clans around him. War is coming and his lovelife isn't helping his peace of mind! With his best friend, 10 brothers and a loving father on her side, Nara has plenty of back-up. She doesn't need Liam's overbearing attitude or his prideful nature. She can leave him any time she wants...
But there's someone out for revenge. And Nara is his perfect target. Will Liam be able to save her, his clan, and her family?
I will leave you to find out. This is a great read with loads of characters, fabulous scene setting, and huge potential for more in the series. Absolutely loved it!
Silver Moon is an exciting story of Nara learning to find herself as the only girl in a family with ten older brothers. Her unique gift for healing has always been a part of her life, but she could not heal her own broken heart when she discovered her betrothed would never share the same love for her as she held for him. Liam, a lifelong family friend, is always there, annoyingly so in her opinion, but he only feels like the eleventh brother until she is forced to look deep inside herself.
I love how the story shifts perspectives by chapter so I never had to wonder how anyone felt in a situation, and the action just kept coming. As usual, Nikki Landis has created an epic story, filled with a lot of background detail to give the characters great depth. I’m excited to see how this story continues. Great job!
What a beautiful romantic tale I adored the way that Nikki Landis took us from Nara and Liams past, present and future. I loved the way that we saw the way that their love story wasn't easy or plain sailing by any stretch of the imagination. I loved the way that even through all their trials and tribulations they held onto their love.....especially when they were mad at each other the live still filled their soul with warmth. I loved the way that we are present at the beginning of the fight and that we know where all the players stand and what their fight is all about....now I can't wait to find out what happens next. How is Griffin and I can't wait to listen to his voice telling his story.
A wonderful introduction to a world that is written so well that you feel like you are part of it. There are so many underlying sub plots going on that you are totally enthralled but at the same time they do not detract from the wonderful love story that is the theme of this book
Liam as always known that Nara is his chosen amte he just had to give her time to realize what she was to him but she finally has and now they can live their life together But what is the secret that Liam is keeping and how will it affect Nara will he be able to keep her safe you need to read this wonderful story to see what happens

This was a good paranormal/shifter read. I could have done without all the lovey dovey over and over again but otherwise a good read. Liam does act like a teenager at times instead of having lived for 80 years. Considering his age he should have handled things with Nara better. The whole falling in love once a child is born reminds me of Twilight and kind of creeps me out. Okay thats all the negative, now on to the good stuff. Shifters, you can't go wrong!! It was good to see the packs come together. The love Nara and Liam share is one everyone wishes they had. The book is a quick, romantic, start to a series.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this story about Liam and Nara. They are lycan and are soulmates. Nara claimed Liam as hers the day she was born. Unfortunately her father didn't want her to have to leave his clan so he tried to make her fall for someone else. The clans lives are in danger from the darkness, up until now they have stayed out of the war, but it's coming to then now. The darkness is using revenge to try and get back and start some deep seated hate between packs and clans.

Nara thought she loved someone else but can't deny her feeling any longer for Liam. Liam has been waiting for Nara since her birth. Now that Nara has let go of her past, she's able to move forward with Liam. Liam has a secret that could destroy his love for Nara. Roving bands of rogue shifters are preying on Nara's old pack and Liam's pack looking for weaknesses. Will Nara trust her feelings? What's Liam's secret? Will the roving bands succeed? Your answers await you in Silver Moon.
I'm eager for more in this series. The characters were raw, real, rich, bold, honest, complicated, compelling, mysterious, and curious too. I look forward to more from this author in the future.
What a creative and entertaining book! I'm a sucker for a great paranormal romance Well-written and engaging from start to finish, there wasn't a dull moment in the story.
I really enjoyed the slow build of the storyline in addition to the romance between werewolf Liam and Nara. The characters were believable and real, their struggles and obstacles intense, and their love and commitment commendable. A long read but one that moves fast, the plot full of interconnecting storylines, and unique and creative characters. If you enjoy any of these aspects, then this novel is for you! 5 magical stars!!
This is a spin off of the Fight for Light series, of which I've read every book. You don't really have to have read that series to enjoy this one as it works well as a stand alone. This one focuses on the shifters in the story that we don't see much of from Rhiannon's point of view in the main series. Nara is introduced in the main series, but this book is her and Liam's story.
Familiar characters are there, but this story focuses on a new cast and new issues. The fight against the Dark General is there and explained if you haven't read the main series, but this is a Lycan book and deals with soulmates, pack drama, and pack feuds.
Holy cow! So much is packed in this story, my head is still spinning. Landis has a knack for packing quite a punch in her stories and this one is no exception. Silver Moon is a great, fast-paced book with love, drama, torment, revenge and so much more. Nara’s life is turned on it’s head when fate paves her way to a new life and role with her pack. Enemies are closing in, clans need to make their stand, and Nara is caught in the middle of it all. I can’t wait to read the next in this new series to see how it all plays out.
Silver Moon, is a Romance Novel that's a love story with Shifters that are, Lycan, Werewolf, and Werecats. It is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone book as well. There is a little of everything in this book, from romance and passion, to battling and fighting, and falling in love to heartbreak. Landis doesn't disappoint. The way she describes locations down to the smallest detail, makes it easy to imagine that you are there, watching the story unfold. She keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more. I couldn't put it down. I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next.
This is my 1st read and review for this author and what a fantastic read it is and this is the story of Nara and Liam. I’m not going to give any spoilers so read Nikki’s blurb and that will give you the gist to this story. This is such a wonderful story of two soulmates Liam the werewolf who is finally able to claim his mate, there’s danger, drama, twists and turns, love, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. A fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
The first book in an intense shifter romance where danger and love go hand and hand. Soulmates are possible but sometimes you might have to wait for them. He knew the minute she was born that she was his soulmate. And he would wait 40 years before letting her know his feelings. When you are a shifter being 40 is still a young adult. Siblings may be born decades apart. This story follows a deep love that will be tested over and over. Can love win or will the darkness take them all?
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.
Liam and Nara are soulmates and even though it took Nara a while to figure it out, Liam never gave up and waited for her. This story takes us on a ride as these two face challenge after challenge. But together they make it to the end. I loved these two together and I couldn't get enough. I cannot wait to read Griffin's story.
