Rate this book
When you’re from a pack in the furthest North, you must be strong enough to bear the cold. Eva learned that since childhood, and after a particularly harsh winter and a brutal rogue attack that killed her alpha born mate, she needed it more than ever. With her dwindling pack in imminent danger, a deal was struck… a deal that would change her whole life. While still reeling from the pain of losing her one true mate, she is forced to tie down her heart with a man she barely knew—an alpha with no known mate… yet. What will be the consequences of this mateless union? Will she ever find something to ease her pain? Will the rose live through the harsh winter? Read a tragic story of love lost in this short prologue to Ashely Michael’s new werewolf book, His to Claim. Grab your copy now.

***TRAGIC***

What a tragedy, I wished David had the balls to say no to his father then! But than again if he did there won't be Noah so yeah it's sad and heart breaking but it all work out in the end.

Nice.

When I read His to claim I was wondering about Eva if she was happy been mates to David. Ok my way where answered in The Winter Rose. Poor Eva she just no loose her mate Wesley but was mates to the Alpha male of the Northern Pack without love for him or any hope. I freaky happy the Eva's love where given a second chance . Good to know more about her because I didn't like her at first. Now she has my friendship.

I thought this book was written well. I really enjoyed learning who was in which wolf pack. The rogue wolves are anxious to take over the smaller packs so they can attack the biggest pack. Eva, being an

alpha wolf fought to protect the pack that rescued her from her pack that she wed into. Eva had lost her true mate.

Just enough information to go on with. Really looking forward to more of this intriguing adventure. I look forward to seeing David's father getting his proper comeuppance!

Very nice.

It's great to get some back story on the characters so we know where they were before the book started. Plus there are bonus characters as well. 😉

A Winter Rose

It was nice to get a glimpse into the past. To see how Eva and David came to be together. It helps to somewhat understand what happened in 'His to Claim'

Little Confused

Okay in His To Claim they announced the mating ceremony in front of David's pack right after Eva met Scarlett And this just sort of skips all that. It seems contradictory.... I mean I guess it's an interesting glimpse into Eva but it doesn't really fit right to me...

Short first glimpse into Eva and her past and her meeting David. I wish there was a little more in this w/ a little more explanation to the pack she came from.
