Trapped in France, the 49ers must team up with Russian special forces, the feared Spetsnaz, to escape the devastation. Together they will wreak havoc as they blast their way through the enemy forces.
Matthew has been reading and writing fantasy and science fiction since he first read the Hobbit at the age of 7.
Since starting writing, Matthew has created the LitRPG/LitFPS Permadeath Series, the alternative history dieselpunk Blaise Maximillian: Bitter Defeat series, Shadow Company - a military fiction series, and is currently working on the Devil's Run RPG with Red Scar Publishing.

I really enjoyed the two primary characters in the first book, but they don't show up until we're halfway through the book. That was a bit of a disappointment, but we are introduced to the mechs which are hugely entertainment.
Interesting to see where Devon's Demons will take the series.
