Good series of detective novels set in pre WW2 rural Sri Lanka (Ceylon). An interesting take on the social/ethnic interplay between the Sri Lankan detectives and the governing British. Well developed characters and good story lines. Definitely worth reading. It would be interesting to know what Sri Lankan’s think of it.
