The trouble with 'I Do' is that in order to live the life of their dreams, they'll have to face the nightmares of their past...
Leigh Anne Davis came home to the small town of Fairhope, Georgia two years ago, believing her life was over. Instead, she fell madly in love, reconnected with dear friends, and built a new life for herself. Still, she can't help but feel that something is missing. She wants nothing more than to be the happy woman everyone expects her to be, but some wounds cut so deep they leave scars that never fully heal.
When Knox Warner came to Fairhope, he was running from a past he wanted desperately to forget. He never dreamed he would become so close to his cousin and uncle, build a business of his own, and fall in love with a woman who understands him in a way no one ever has before. He's ready to propose to Leigh Anne, but her family's expectations bring back feelings of self-doubt he thought he'd conquered when his father died.
Will Leigh Anne and Knox allow the pain of their past to tear them apart? Or will they finally fight for the love they deserve?
The Trouble With I Do is the final book in the bestselling Fairhope small town romance series. While most of the books in this series can stand alone, this final book is meant to be read last and as a part of the entire series. You can start with Book 1, The Trouble With Goodbye, for free.
I have never had an experience like Leigh Anne and I hope I never do. I’ve never grown up in a family like hers. And yet, I resonate with so many of the feelings she expresses and starts to overcome in this book. Not to the same extend by any means. But I think that’s one of the things that has made me follow through with this series. Every single character had at least one relatable trait and I loved it. (And I don’t think it’s crazy that these characters have become your friends!)
Sarra you are one amazing woman. I can't thank you enough for bring these character lives alive with so much love, friendship & with an amazing story to finish off this series. I could do with more!! Thanks again xxxx
I received an advance copy of this book for an honest review, and I am so grateful I did. As a fan of the Fairhope series I thought this was a wonderful way to wrap up the series.
The journey of Leigh Anne and Knox really finding each other will give you chills, make you cry and create huge smiles on your face.
It was fun to catch up with the other characters of Fairhope, even briefly.
I found it smart for Cannon to end the series with the couple that started it all. If you have read the rest of the series I don't think you will be disappointed with this floppy bow of the series.
Omg this book was incredible!! So many different emotions. I cried, laughed, got angry, and cried some more. I loved this series so much! Though this one hit home the most. With everything they've been trough especially Leigh Anne, I'm glad they got their happily ever after. So sad this series had come to an end though I'm pleased with the ending. Great job Sarra!!! (Received an ARC for an honest review)
I am glad that Leigh Ann finally stood up to her parents. They are truly awful people. I'm glad they made their own family with their friends. Knox and Leigh Ann have been thru lot and I'm glad they persevered.
Best ending to a series ever. Sarra is absolutely brilliant. The characters become so real that you have to know what happens next. Absolutely loved this series and would recommend over and over!
I am so sad that the series ended, I will miss these cgaracters so much, this series if full of lessons, self-development and a lot of love, I recommend it to everyone!
So many emotions i went through reading this story . There are parts in the story that if I could reach through and smack Leigh Anne mom I would have loved to do so. Beautiful ending and ended as should have with all the love.
Happy ending after all. Great love story, enjoyed catching up with all other characters but the best part was what took them to get to a happily ever after!
Not my favorite of the 8. Many parts of this book came across very juvenile. Overly descriptive. The best part of the book is when Leigh finds herself. It did offer good closure to the series.
From the moment I picked it up, I could not put it down. I devoured the whole thing in a single sitting, and now I am left with a perfect conclusion and the emotions that come with the end of this series.
It couldn't have been done more perfectly than it was. Familiar faces, familiar stories, and it all came full circle to the two who started it all; but the beauty of it was watching the characters really come into their own. The first book in the series has always hit home for me, so to read this final piece of the puzzle was almost healing for me. There were definitely some tears shed on this end of things!
All in all, Sarra has once again given us a perfect example of what it is we wait for; she never fails to deliver a beautifully written story, and it never fails to connect with the reader.
