This book discusses gender bias within the context of language. It breaks down different ways that men and women speak, the reasons we speak the way we do, and how different linguistic features are seen either positively or negatively, which many times is dependent upon the gender of the speaker. It brought attention to the ways in which I may display my own bias and how I can avoid it socially, professionally, and in the classroom.
