USA Today bestselling author Holly (H.L.) Holston is a dog walker by day and a sometimes author by night.
She admits she is a horrible blogger, even worse in keeping up on Facebook, and wishes she could retire to New Orleans and eat beignets every day at Café du Monde. Until then, she will write books about sexy men loving each other.
This was only part of a book. I was just getting into this book when suddenly it just abruptly ended! Its being a short story doesn't justify leaving the reader unsatisfied as to what happened to the MCs. Did they survive the war and have their HEA? There isn't even a hint. I see that there's another book, which IMO should be the other half of this one if that's where the true ending for this story is. However, I'm reluctant to trust that the authors won't leave me in mid air with no parachute again.
This is a short story about the timeless love affair between two men meeting as soldiers in WW1 France who had loved each other in a previous life. We don't get a clear ending just a hope that they will see each other at war's end. I liked this story enough that I bought the sequel and look forward to finding out if they were able to continue their love affair.
I read book 2 before I read book one and I promised myself I would read book one , I have, and I really enjoy these type of stories . Paranormal love stories , I hope there it will be a book 3 .
