Ten days before Dalen’s wedding to his longtime girlfriend, Cherrie, Dalen receives a phone call from Mark Smith’s mother informing him that her son has gone missing. Dalen and Ian immediately take to the streets to try to find him. Their investigation takes them from Ohio, to Michigan’s capital, and to the streets of Detroit as they desperately try to find Mark, aka Frownie Mae, before the unimaginable happens.
The two P.I.’s enlist the help of their friends Renee Macy and Ryan Larkin of the Detroit Police Department. Along the way, they also receive the assistance from reporter Victoria Colavino and former Detroit Detective Robert Stonewall.
Will the group be able to follow the unraveling web spun by everyone from the state’s Lieutenant Governor to the Kingpins of 8 Mile? Can Dalen and Ian bring their friend home safely and in enough time for the wedding or will time run out before the street lights go out on McCatty Drive for good?
