Narayaneeyam

by Melputhur Narayana Bhattathiri

[Dr. Appu Sasidharan (Dasfill)]

My house in Kerala is just 20 minutes away from the famous Guruvayur temple. So when I first got my driving license, my favorite thing to do was to drive alone to Guruvayur to visit the temple, eat sumptuous vegetarian delicacies from the temple and the restaurants near the temple, and roam around the bookstores there.

I loved to sit in the bookstores in Guruavayur and talk about books with the bookstore owners and buy books based on their recommendations. One fine day the bookstore owner recommended me this book. Even though I had heard about it a lot in my life, that was the first time I bought this book, and I loved the experience of reading it. This is a great book to read if you love to read spiritual books.
